- Taken during an unsuccessful peal and quarter attempt of Plain and Little Bob Royal on Sunday 8th October 2023.
Whilst a little oddstruck and mushy in the ringing room, which can make them a bit of an issue to strike at times, it has to be said that these are a a very fine 10, handle well and are extremely rewarding!
Love the first few minutes in the belfry with the bells being raised. They sound great!
I would rise ring & lower these bells all day.
Who is ringing?
It's always had 10 bells. But thought the front 2 treble's are 1959.
They started off as a Taylor 1914 ring of eight. Augmented to 10 in 1933 by Taylors and lost during the war. Then these were recast in 1945 to the present 10. Reputed to be the first post war recast
