Thank you so much for watching my channel!! Yes, using a peeler is saving time 😊 And, I am so happy to hear you are making several recipes from my videos. Thank you very much 😍
These look amazing and actually something you can possibly do in the morning. Great tip on the veg peeler. And using frozen veg in the microwave will make everything faster too. Thank you 😊
This was so helpful! I love how easy and simple your instructions were and how clear they were to follow! All of them look so delicious! I can't wait to try them all!
Hello, i love you videos, may i ask about the wosterchier sauce? i buy bulldog WorsterChier sauce but mine is watery. is there another type that is creamier like tonkatsu sauce?
Hi! For the spam rice ball recipe, you seasoned the spam with mirin and sake. When i go to look up these ingredients google says mirin is sake. Can you please tell me the sake you used in this video? Thanks so much
Thanks for your comment! Sake and mirin are different actually. Both are made with koji and rice, but mirin has sweet taste. One of the major differences between the production of mirin and sake is that mirin does not undergo the alcoholic fermentation process that takes place before sake is made. Specifically, mirin is made by putting steamed glutinous rice, malted rice, and shochu into a single tank and brewing them together at the same time, so that only saccharification takes place instead of alcoholic fermentation by yeast as in sake. Sake I use is here👇 Sake: www.wine-searcher.com/find/sho+chiku+bai+ten+sake+japan/1/japan I use drinking sake not cooking sake, but you can use either one!
So, do you eat these cold or do you eat them at room temp? Rice that's stored in the fridge gets hard, but I don't have time to make a lunch with rice before work and would rather make it the night before.
Thank you for your comment! I eat them at room temp. I make fresh rice when cooking bento box, and make sure to cool the rice enough before packing it in the box. If you want to prepare the bento the night before, how about making some ingredients other than rice? Also, if it's deep-frying dish, I would just prepare to the point of sprinkling bread crumbs (panko).
@@JapaneseCookingChannel Thank you I was trying to figure that out as I was watching you cooking. I’m gonna have to pick some up now. Usually all I have in stock at home is olive oil.
@@JapaneseCookingChannel I haven’t tried it yet but I’m planning on it I think my daughter would love the ham and cheese recipe and I’ve been toying around making bento boxes at home they’re nowhere near as beautiful as yours though. I’m so glad I found your channel it really makes me want to try my hand at new recipes ♥️
I love your recipes but I wonder if you would consider changing your background music up. I notice you use the same videogame like music on all your videos. No music at all would also work well.
Thanks for your question. I make it in the morning, and my husband eat it the day I make it. If you wanna make it the day before, maybe you should put it in fridge, and heat it in microwave when eating.
Thanks!
Thank you so much!!

They all look wonderful! I have a question: what is the best substitute for sake? I cannot quite find it in my country.
Thank you!! You can use white wine instead of sake!
I love these set of bento recipes! Can these be frozen as well? Just curious. Thanks!
Thank you so much for watching my video! Yes, you can freeze them.
Hello, Sayaka! Love your videos. Could you make japanese inspired vegetarian and/or vegan lunches & breakfast? I would love to see it!
Thank you for your comment! I will try to make that in the future video!

Loved your quick and easy recipes. I love to try new recipes, but not spam. Maybe you should try fried tofu block instead of spam. 🥰🥰.

Hello, i love you videos, may i ask about the wosterchier sauce? i buy bulldog WorsterChier sauce but mine is watery. is there another type that is creamier like tonkatsu sauce?
Sorry, I said wrong. I used bulldog Tonkatsu sauce for the deep-fried food. It's much thicker than WorsterChier sauce.

You're welcome! Hope you have a wonderful day with good food:)
What kind of oil do you use to fry the ham and cheese?
I use white sesame oil (unroasted sesame oil). But, using vegetable oil is totally fine!!

I'm a bit confused about why she left the fish scales on.

It's fish skin not fish scales... :)

Question: Is it stored in the fridge or sitting on the counter the night before taking it for lunch?
