Yes open box intake sound good NA engine intake sound the best cause all you hear is the air getting sucked in when we put one on the g37 it’s going to sound good with a deep tone to it
Thanks for the help. This video probably saved me 15 minutes and it's 106 here in FL! I suggest anyone that has this car with the 1.5T RUN to wherever you get your car parts from and buy this intake. Install in less than an hour and now the blow-off valve sounds sick and it definitely feels more responsive. I absolutely love it. Best $350 I've spent in a while! Do it you'll love it too!!! Since you are starting you can do the intake and a muffler delete to start if you trying to Gain power get a cat delete a a midpiple you can get the mid pipe off prlmotorsports.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIn7KgqrqD-gIVkTizAB2_wwpDEAAYASAAEgJkzfD_BwE You can delete the resonator the car is going to be really loud if that’s what you want you can also get a PRL front intercooler HPS Charge pipe and get the car tuned by someone or you can buy a ktuner and tune it yourself just be careful tuning the cvt transmission they are known to fail You can also get a stronger upper and lower torque mounts to help with wheel hop

There is a tuner you can buy called Ktuner v2 or hondata that can tune you vehicle and give it a bit more power and adding thing like pop and bangs if you want to learn more about them you can search it up so you can see what you can get out of your car just be careful turning the transmission as the cvt only found on the 1.5 is known to not be good of holding power you can do more research also here is a video you can look at ua-cam.com/video/0qNhlHDzPWU/v-deo.html
Quick question, Do i have to do ANYTHING else to my 1.5 before or after installing this? i seen comments on other videos that you have to tune your car everytime putting an aftermarket part on so the ECU can adapt to the aftermarket performance. If not your car can run lean or rich depending on the vehicle. Is this true??
It’s is recommended to tune the car but it’s not necessary unless you have other mods that really require it I have this intake for a year now with no tune and I haven’t had any issues with it
@CR7Update I just avoided tuning and don’t break anything cause if you break something and bring it to them then it will void it I never had issues with my warranty cause I pretty much left the car stock under the hood

@@NadeWes , you might not feel it, but if you actually dyno it, you be seeing loss on power. You are sucking-in hot air from the engine bay bro. I am just speaking the facts....
Just drive the car and the lights will clear after a short drive if you have a engine light after install you will have to check your work because you should not have one
Unhook the battery and you would have to check for any leaks and make sure everything is tight and plugged in all the way after plug in the battery have the system reset and if you get another engine light I would get a scanner from autozone like a cheap one and see what exactly going on
I don’t know really it’s just I always like AEM I wanted to try a different named brand I like the K&N also never had a problem with it since install but same could be said with the K&N I was thinking down the road I would try the K&N to see if there’s a difference But to answer your question it was the first one I saw when I was looking for intakes and I knew they was good

So far I been slow on the performance mods I just have the intake and I have an exhaust I’ve just been slow on filming the exhaust more to come

I never noticed any decrease in power since I installed the intake i push it to the limit to give it a good test and I haven’t had any issues

Forgot to mention the tune is not mandatory
Does it tell you what the power increase is? I have a sport 1.5t as well.
It averages between 8-10 hp increase and around 7-8 torque if you do more mods with it you feel more

No that noise you are hearing is all from the intake

what caused those error codes?
When you unhook the battery the system needs to be driven to clear the lights I explained in text at 12:16 in the video

Where did you get that air intake from?
I got it off crux motors the links are in the description for the 1:5 and 2.0
How do I get rid of my light show after intsall? (Check engine lights and what not)

Does it increase speed?
Yes you will feel a slight increase
But you will need to do more modifications to get the most out of it
