I love this theme. its another one of those ones that if you've played the game, it gives you the chills and flashbacks to the play. and if you haven't, it just tells you you're about to dive into some seriously awesome shit.
I like listening to this when just before I go to sleep, it's haunting and yet there's something inspiring about it. Iunno, just really love hearing it.

By the way, "4A Games" (Metro 2033/Last Light/Exodus developers) from Ukraine too) They were in "G.S.C. Game World", but after they realeased S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, part of developers left "G.S.C." And "Vostok games" company ("SURVARIUM" and "Fear the Wolves" developers) the also were part of G.S.C. Game World.
The music for STALKER "Shadow of Chernobyl" was a very valuable part of the overall great dark atmosphere of the game. I will never forget playing it! The score was composed by Russian musician Moose-E. For the sequels, they did not ask him again, and his great feeling for this surrounding was sorely missed by me.

Just one more year has passed and this tragedy it's still on our memories. Came here on this day to remember the fallen, and to remember how beautiful and haunting this game is. A masterpiece.

Fr0zenM yeah I know clear sky and call of pripyat(which was much more refined) I am referring to the stalker 2 sequel where you again play as Strelok, even though gsc game world is back now I doubt stalker 2 will ever be made...
TyrannWright Survarium is meant to be the 'new' S.T.A.L.K.E.R game. It's a massive multiplayer shooter as they call it. It's in alpha right now and there's only small maps but from what I heard it's because they want to get the PvP done properly first before they move onto making the world. They're planning to eventually have it be sort of like an open world multiplayer game with players in the Zone together. Made by Vostok games which was started by some of the GSC Game World guys if memory serves. It even carries on the story from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R games but I don't know how effective that will be when it's PvP. A shame in my opinion. I've never been one for those massive-multiplayer type games. Don't take too much of what I wrote as fact. Do a bit of research if you're interested. This is just what I could remember off the top of my head.

Then 0:20-0:40 he saw the body lying next to entrance to some catacomb, comes closer and see - that's the one of missing stalkers he looking for, from 0:40 to 0:52 he's fast examining body just to findout - there's bloodsuckers doing, and the tracks lead down the stairs. From 0:52 o 1:03 he's standing on the border of ladder, watcing in the dark, and on 1:03 he starts slowly comes down, until camera didn't loose him. Tweak seconds for more accurate image

Everyone talks about how bleak and depressing this music is. I agree, but listen to the ending at 1:41. The tone shifts, and it sounds like glimmers of hope pouring through, perhaps to say in the end everything will be alright. Don't give up, my friends, no matter how bleak the future seems. There is always glimmers of hope to be found if you search long enough.
Feels like just a little, fleeting but very strong hope for the best...

I love this song it really goes with the feeling that the zone is a unforgiving place and that everyday is a fight for survival.
game was glithcy as shit, but the atmosphere was creepy as possible, to bad there wont be a stalker 2...

Fr0zenM yeah I know clear sky and call of pripyat(which was much more refined) I am referring to the stalker 2 sequel where you again play as Strelok, even though gsc game world is back now I doubt stalker 2 will ever be made...
Fr0zenM They're meant to be spin-offs of the original, even though Call of Pripyat carries on the story of Shadow of Chernobyl.
TyrannWright Survarium is meant to be the 'new' S.T.A.L.K.E.R game. It's a massive multiplayer shooter as they call it. It's in alpha right now and there's only small maps but from what I heard it's because they want to get the PvP done properly first before they move onto making the world. They're planning to eventually have it be sort of like an open world multiplayer game with players in the Zone together. Made by Vostok games which was started by some of the GSC Game World guys if memory serves. It even carries on the story from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R games but I don't know how effective that will be when it's PvP.
A shame in my opinion. I've never been one for those massive-multiplayer type games.
Don't take too much of what I wrote as fact. Do a bit of research if you're interested. This is just what I could remember off the top of my head.

Just imagine this
Till 0-20 the man walking down the zone, alone in the night, searching something.
Then 0:20-0:40 he saw the body lying next to entrance to some catacomb, comes closer and see - that's the one of missing stalkers he looking for, from 0:40 to 0:52 he's fast examining body just to findout - there's bloodsuckers doing, and the tracks lead down the stairs. From 0:52 o 1:03 he's standing on the border of ladder, watcing in the dark, and on 1:03 he starts slowly comes down, until camera didn't loose him. Tweak seconds for more accurate image

То, как я описал бы чувства, возникающие у меня при прослушивании этой музыки - грусть. Грусть о том какая есть Зона. И ностальгия о том, как было мне хорошо, когда я впервые поиграл в эту игру.

Мне жутко нравиться сталкер, наверное каждый СНГ игрок, да не то чтобы игрок, а каждый человек знает об этой игре, или хотябы о книгах/фильме.
Я недавно более менее с ним ознакомился, но помню как смотрел моды на сталкер(не помню какую часть) это было в классе первом, тогда я не знал что это за игра, просто рандом видосы смотрел.
