Elon Musk's SpaceX Starlink is one of, if not THE best, option for satellite internet in 2024. But it still has some issues and performance quirks. So what happens when you get 2 Starlink Dishes? Well, we did just that, and it turns out, 2 dishes might be better than one. In this video, Alex and Kevin talk about whether you can improve your Starlink connection, and REMOVE some of those weird issues by adding a second Starlink dish to your setup.

What is another Tech Topic that you'd like us to do a Deep Dive Discussion on?
I think most of us wants to know how can we combine two Starlink and what are the kits we need or where we install the speedify app. A guide will be helpful or some kind of A little bit of actual video guide how we can get set it up. I think most of people won’t dive deeper because most they’re not just techy or knowledgeable about how they can set it up. It’s just my opinion. It would be more helpful to those who doesn’t know how they/we can set it up.
Plus the more easier it can be done the more subscribers you can get.
In our experience, latency is most our concern and we’re thankful you made an adjustments before we can get hands on it.
We’re from in a group of islands in the Philippines. And signal of Cellular is Zero. So we’re trying to figure out how we can get an internet then starlink came in.
Now our problem is speed to accommodate all of our clients.
I hope you’ll make a video on how we can set it up. And what are the kits.

While bridging internet connections can make things faster and it is possible to use two starlinks together to indeed go faster, it is a bit of a pain to set up. However the explanation the guy on the left was giving is absolutely wrong, he obviously does not know much about starlink's technical functionality and is winging it. One starlink dish regardless of whether it is residential or high performance can track numerous satellites at once. There is not a situation where the quote unquote satellite that the left dish is tracking disappears and it drops. Both dishes would be tracking numerous satellites in orbit at the same time. You would never have one starlink drop out and the other one pick up the slack they would be working as a team the entire time.
I tried two starlink dishes and it didn't improve my speed, the latency got worse. I also tried 2 5g networks, one from MTN and another from Airtel and the speed didn't get better. This was in January 2024

if you want to use starlink simultaneously, using mikrotik, why can't starlink be used simultaneously? because they have the same ip, then mikrotik is used to change the starlink ip so that it can be used simultaneously.
I use speedify only for Mikrotik which I distribute to 600 users with a topology of 4 Starlink - Mikrotik (Speedify) - PTP - AP Mesh - User 600 Clients
You are saying two separate monthly subscriptions too right? Not just getting an extra dish?

It's interesting! So you would just need the dish from Starlink. They've been sending a bunch of satellites into space, so you would just need the dish and a subscription!
