I noticed you rack your slide when you send the new mag in vs hitting the slide release. is there any benefit to that over the slide release or is it just preference. i've been using my slide release personally but i'm still pretty new. thanks for the video, keep them coming!
That's a great question! The short answer is: when your body goes into "Fight or Flight", you are rushed with both adrenaline and endorphins. Those chemicals will rob your extremities of blood, oxygen and glucose. Usually causing you to have a lack of feeling and dexterity in your fingers, making it possibly hard to feel/find your slide lock. The over the top rack will allow you to use major muscle groups to manipulate the slide. Plus your brain then only has to use 1 method to rack the slide, clear a malfunction or rack off reload. There is more to it but that's generally why I use and teach that method. Yes that's the "short " answer...kinda.
Nice Belt System!
We agree! This is our favorite rig set to use and train with. Stay posted to the channel for our full review of your G-Code Assaulter Plate Carrier.

Tactical reloads feel so slow to me. Its something i should definitely work on.
cool video!
Thanks for checking it out. Keep working on them slowly, speed will come with repetition.
Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast.
