Fantastic. I have to echo what everyone else said- thank you for the clear and concise directions- this is a huge help and really made it straight forward. In my mind it was much more complicated and confusing. You're great!
Very clear detailed video....Only thing I would say is consider folks like me who own a basic machine. I have a zig zag stitch on my machine and I do not own a serger. Singer Stylist 1970s. Loved the video!
I wish it showed what this actually looks like when finished! The instructions on how to do it are very clear and concise but it’s hard to know if this is the right alteration for my project without seeing what the end result of the gusset is.
What about a garment that has a seam that is supposed to sit just under the bust but because of a large bust the seam sits across the bust? Like that period black dress only in a knit. I am thinking of putting a gusset under the bust in that horizontal seam.
@@az55544 no matter what I weigh the difference between my bust and waist is the same. I am talking about a full bust alteration on an existing garment.
So well explained, and good close up as well. Thank you.
I can not thank you enough for this. I'm in desperate need of this right now, and your concise directions explained it perfectly for me!

Thank you for this easy to follow tutorial, I feel confident now to insert a gusset into an armhole of a new to me garment.

She did use a zig-zag stitch to finish the edges.
Thanks so much. Your video is very informative and direct. I didn't need to fast forward thru any unnecessary entertainment.
Thank you!
Your tutorial was excellent!
Very useful Rebecca. Thank you for producing this video.💃
Brilliant! I had no idea you could do this with ready-made items.
exactly what i was looking for with my bat wings.
Now to work up the courage to do it on my new jacket.
Thanks for that last tip
Do you sew the gusset horizontally or vertically?
Good question. This was vertically.
very helpful and easy to follow. thank you.
Thanks but I need a tutorial on removing a gusset that came with the shirt. A lot of shirts come with these bc the shirt maker thinks it looks good.
Thanks so much, straight to the point
Just what I needed! Thanks!

Thank you very much for your videos 🎉
Just the help I was looking for, thank you! I'm wondering, should the gusset be cut on the bias?
Thank You so much!!!
I couldn't see how the ends of gusset were sewn in. Thanks for this video.
Hi , can you show gusset in a jacket underarm it has no seam, the jacket is made with 6 panels.
Thank you!!!!!
Very helpful! This is exactly what I needed to see. Thank you!👍❤️
This is not a video for beginners as i found it hard to see exactly what she was doing. Perhaps using a solid fabric would make it easier to follow.
Thank you very much
Thank you.
What machine are you using
I have a Ralph Lauren checkered shirt that I’m going to do.
You did not show the finished seam?
