My eyes aren't what they used to be. This slim light would be amazing over my cutting table.
I do most of my sewing at night. This would brighten my area so much and make it easier to see what I’m doing.
That would be a great addition to any sewing or crafting area. Especially when space is limited.
Age is the reason why I NEED this lamp! Who thought I would need more light as I age? Loving this lamp!

I need this for my dark basement sewing room! It would be so helpful to see better by easily moving this lamp round on my table depending on what I am doing.

Have used OTT lights forever. However they’re bigger and cumbersome. I’d LOVE this slim , cute little lady in my sewing studio. In fact.... LOVE.? ....I NEED her!
Really like the flexibility of the lamp and how well it lit up the entire area!
My room is fairly dark (even with four 100-watt bulbs) and I am getting up in age, so sufficient light is so important to me when I sew or serge. This is an awesome lamp; I love that it is so slim and unobtrusive and like that it can be easily moved to where you need the light.

My sewing room definitely needs this lamp, so I could sew better at night, especially. Up until now, I’ve had to quite around dusk because of the light. It’s now on my “wish list.”

Hi Sue! This is the lamp I want! I believe I deserve this lamp because I sew in a dimly lit area and I would do so much more sewing, embroidery, etc...if I had this!

Thanks for showing us this lamp. I think this would really help in my semi-dark sewing room. We live in the mountains and have lots of beautiful trees, but not a lot of natural light coming in the windows.

What an awesome and helpful lamp. I can see myself using this as you did at my sewing machine, but I was also thinking it would help tremendously at my easy chair when doing hand binding and sewing. It’s quite difficult to see when hand sewing with my aging eyes, so that would so beneficial. Wish it was more affordable for me. Thank you for sharing. Linda Hardesty

Hi Sue Great job. I need this light. My eyes are getting old and I wear glasses and use a magnifying glass when I sew. I only sew during the day and have my machine in front of the window.

Fantastic light. A bit expensive but wow! As I have gotten older my eyes need more light. I usually have my ceiling fan lights on, my Ott light on and a standing lamp that has 3 arms on when I sew in the evening. It gets pretty hot in my sewing room! I would love to have this light!!
It is a bit on the higher end price compared to some other options. It’s too bad having good light needs to be a luxury isn’t it but it makes the Hobby more enjoyable for sure
Wish this one was more affordable! With all the what's your darkness we have in Alaska I could use this year round! Not just for sewing, but for teaching music lessons as well :)

I would love to have this lamp. My sewing room is upstairs in my bonus room and my lighting is just from ceiling fans.
I would love an LED light like that one for these tired old eyes developing a slow macular degeneration and need all the light I can get.

Wow great review! I sew in my bedroom and use 2 lamps the light on the ceiling and the adjacent bathroom light. Ive gotten worsening eye sight due to a medication I was on. Id love to win but definitely will save up to get this if I dont. Awsome product.
I would love to win the slim line table lamp because I love to sew but I am loosing my sight in my right eye and this would help me now and even more in the future, it looks great.
It’s a great light. Now Daylight offers the Slimline with three lighting options. Light, med, bright.
this was a very helpful review. I desperately need one of these! I use an OttLite now but it tends to give me a headache.
Sorry about the headaches. I can say with all honesty that I suffer from migraines and am incredibly sensitive to light and I found because you can even change the angle of the bulb the light never hurts my eyes.
As my sewing room is in the basement, it is naturally dark, even with the overhead lights. I did set up a floor lamp next to my sewing machine, but it does not really help to light up the sewing area. I am sure my 71 year old eyes with cataracts do not help the situation as I find myself using my glasses along with a magnifying glass more and more often.I would love, love to win this lamp!!

Hi, if you were to have the lamp over something like a glossy magazine or a book with colour images in it, would there be any light bouncing back up at you leaving a patch of light on the image which would obscure that section of the image? Also, if you were to film your videos from your own point of view, where would you put your lamp in relation to the camera?
What an excellent question. I do actually use two Daylight lamps for filming overhead but don’t show that anywhere yet. But soon we’ll be doing a studio tour of our filming equipment so be sure to subscribe so you see that video.

This is not the one that has the different light settings right? Because I have an older one, but I don't think the light brightness settings change. Please let me know.
Correct. This is the first version. Now it has three settings. It’s nice but just takes longer to turn on and off.
