This is the ideal quarantine. It should be standard protocol.

For your Copperbamd… try also Masstick. It will stick on the glass and it’s usually successful for the copperbands.

Hey! The overflow setup on the coral tables are all identical. Each tank is running a Herbie overflow. 1.5" main drain and 1.5" emergency. All overflows are tied into a 2" main stack that runs from one end of the store to the other.

That Gem Tang was getting the crap kicked out of it. All this effort on quarantine and you're not on top of a fish actively being chased, fins torn to shreds.

I'm sure Dimo has already moved it to another tank, sometimes those things happen quick

      Hey Joe,
You would be surprised how fast tangs will start fighting after being perfectly calm together. I had 55 gem tangs come in and we CONSTANTLY are moving them around to get them to keep calm. The specific gem tang you saw in the video would have only started to be chased at nipped at within an hour or two of that day ( and I know this as I fed that tank when we opened that day and no fish had nipped fins) We feed the fish system every 1.5-2 hours and when feeding I step back and watch the tank. Shortly after Dimitry left I separated that gem in a basket and within 2 days his fins were back to normal. I released him back into the tank and the fish were no longer fighting.
I don't believe you will find another storefront that is as attentive to the health of their livestock as we are, anywhere in Canada.
