    I was a high roller for many years and would gamble hundreds of thousands a day with a full time host, comp penthouse suites, hookers and cocaine.
    I now live underground in a lasvegas storm sewer.

    I love seeing Vegas hotel room interiors of the late '90s and early 2000s. So many of the themed resorts have lost their theming over time; curious to see what the Venetian suite shown looks like today.

    2020 - Dennis Rodman net worth is under 500k however he owes about 860k in back child and spousal support, and estimated 350k in back tax payments. So he got half a mill but he owes over a mill. Consider him $-500k in debt. Thanks Hard Rock Casino. Good job 👏👌👌👌👏

    The guy named Paul Baker- the "Internet Executive" actually died in 2009 at the age of 45 not sure what was the cause of his death but for those that were curious he was one of the early guys in at AOL. / The guy named Denny Mason - "retired businessman" passed away in 2014 at the age of 55! Both died fairly young tbh..

    I went to Romania once. I was able to live like a king. It was kind of cool the first day. However, I quickly started feeling bad about being waited on like I was better than everyone else. I'm not. I just was blessed to be born in America and have more money in comparison to most in Romania. Btw, Romanians make some kick ass soup. :)

The key is discipline and stopping when ahead, 99% of players fail in that regard, heck even my own brother can’t stop while ahead and ends up losing thousands every game

    32:00 "We import WOKs at $15,000 each from Hong Kong." That. my friends, is total, steaming, flat-earth bullshit. A cast iron skillet of the correct size doesn't cost $15,000. Any manager who justifies it saying "It's authentic" would be fired on the spot. There isn't a palate on earth that can differentiate between a so-called Hong Kong Wok, and something made domestically. It boils down to the chef.

    Things I took from this;
    1) Rich athletes are black.
    2) 'Players' are more important than anyone else in the world in the casino, everyone else may as well be dead.
    3) If you are going to be gambling, you may as well be a 'high roller'.
    4) Gambling is good, if you are losing just change the game, or failing that just have few more drinks and sleep it off, totally harmless.
    5) As long as there is great food and drinks, everybody in a Casino is having fun.
    6) The narrator sounds like he is selling how good this is to me.
    7) Everyone interviewed in this whole production is totally fine with gambling, even happy about it, weather working in the casino or not.
    8) Nothing at all is said bad about anything at all from start to finish.
    9) The amount of shit that has nothing to do with gambling is overwhelming.

      Yes of course. Gambling's harmless, drinking's harmless, any vice is fun and harmless. The devil's playground. But hey, the video IS about high rollers. I bet most of them are putting those mirrors to work on the bathroom counter too. Most of those guys aren't high rollers any more I guarantee it. This was filmed in the 90's and the dot com boom is long since over. Adelson's henchmen have to keep seeking out the new rich year after year. In the end, the only guy who survived it was the butler. The Casinos and the girls know how to extract the money.
    Rich athletes who are retired get taken down to size pretty quick.
    Rodman is a perfect example. Just a few years ago he had enough money for the average person to retire on. Now his networth is negative. He owes more than he has.

    Love some of the people telling how you are paying for everything with what you lose. These are people that
    have nothing and never will. You have to realise to some people dropping 100K over a weekend mean nothing
    to some people. Vegas use to be for people that had a lot of money. You didn't see people out in vegas with a
    limit of $50 a day to spend. Walking around with their pants hanging down to their ankles with flip flops on.

    • @misterchubbikins
      @misterchubbikins 2 роки тому +1

      @@rudrachatterjee2614 now it's less casinos per se and more night clubs.
      Cosmo drew the younger crowd cuz of Marquee. Then MGM brought in Hakkasan, Venetian with Tao and Wynn had Surrender.
      The younger crowds tend to jump from club to club and whoever has the hottest club has the younger crowd for that year.
