It is a fabulous project and a lovely, helpful twist on using wax on our paper crafting projects. It has been a wonderful treat to see and hear you and I hope you are well and enjoying a lovely spring in Cambria.
I had to do a double take...but it was true, a new video from you!! So lovely to hear from you and as always, a tutorial to be treasured. You are the first journal maker I found on UA-cam and still top of the list. Thank you for sharing. ❤
Thank you so much for choosing to make this tutorial, Jibid. Not only are the little wax dangles very beautiful, but your relaxed and natural style is a joy to watch. I’m so glad that you’re back.
I enjoyed that, learning about wax, even the knot was worth learning. Your work is always beautiful. The reminder about curtesy to mention you, your work is always original and unique 👍 ❤️
Every week I look to see if you have returned and today my quest paid off! You are the most exquisite artist and, to echo the sentiments of others , you are on the very top of our list! This was a fascinating tutorial and you executed it brilliantly! I’m so happy you are back, Jibid!
Thank you so much for sharing this idea and tutorial! It was as magnificient as you are! I treasure any ideas and tutorials that you share as they are so inspiring and creative. I have always loved your work and cherish your time and efforts! By the way, it was one of the best tutorials on UA-cam :)
Welcome back. I missed watching you, love your creative, beautiful work. It is odd, over the past month (May) your name was mentioned several times by different crafters. Here you are. I mentioned to you before and you still are in my top 5 of the most creative crafters. Looking forward to see what you will be coming up with. Thank you for sharing. Barb Pacific NW
First it is NOT the worst video on You Tube!!! I love your stuff and really miss you when you dissapear. Your mermaid journal was spectacular so I look forward to your next ocean one!!!
Great to hear you again ! Any tutorials by you are always welcome, you do them how you want. This has reminded me I have wax. But the bowl to heat it in never arrived. Those seals look good Jibid, thanks for sharing.
Thankyou for sharing this lovely tutorial Jibid, I always learn so much from you! You have your own unique style and I think these are the best videos on UA-cam. Please stay with us now you are back 💕☺️
So good to see you back. Have loved your style and techniques since beginning and actually refer back to your videos often for inspiration. Your art and creativity is always my favorite. Welcome back, you’ve been missed. Tfs
Love this idea! I have to admit, something is wrong with my computer and I have no sound, but I could clearly understand your tutorial! Thank you for sharing!!!
I am tickled to see that you are up to your old mischief again, Jibid! These dangles are adorable!🤗🥰 I'm not sure if polystyrene and polymer clay are the same but I found this online: "The main danger of polymer clay is that if it is warmed, it may emit harmful gases (hydrogen chloride vapor is one of the vapors). Irritants, such as these vapors, should be avoided. The main thing to keep in mind is not to overbake or burn the clays. The clay is non-toxic in and of itself." So, as long as you wear a breathing apparatus, and a certified hazmat suit, and also work from inside a Zorb, it might be safe. But you might also roll away from your work surface a time or two.😂
Haha thanks for that. No it's not the same thing. Polymer is designed to be cooked to harden it, tho some do have concerns about the vapours etc. I am using plasticine which is permanently soft. Although I am not cooking it, it is in contact with a warm surface for a few seconds. I couldn't find anything that suggested this was harmful. I appreciate the input, thanks x
Hi Jibid, thanks so much for you video, I haven’t ever used wax but I’m giving it a try now! Could you dome the end of your piece of dowel to get the same effect?
Where can I get the tiny image to make the seal with? My seals are pretty large and I’d love a small round one like yours. Thank you for the video and tutorial!
I've never seen one of those wax crucibles before. Is it just for wax or did it originally have a different purpose? Good to see you back Jibid. I've missed you.
Thankyou so much. Yes they are easy to find online, eBay etc. They are designed for the wax spoon to sit on top and there's space for a tealight candle underneath x
So happy to see you again... miss you jibid!!...love the seals!

So thrilled to find your channel, especially learning about the wax seals, did you say the mold is made of silicone?
Thankyou Paulette! No, plasticine - I was suggesting a ready made silicone one if you preferred, like a sweet/jewellery mould
@@jibidneary2212 thanks for taking time to answer my question.. I can’t wait to try.

@@jibidneary2212 Thank you. Was I right to call it a crucible for the purpose of ordering?
@@starlightcraftsGB Hiya, I just had a look on eBay, they are called various things like wax melter, stove, pot, furnace etc. Hope that helps x
