How long will the bushings last ?
I heard that they wear out because they don't have enough lubrication ?

The CHE rocker arm trunion kit is almost exactly the same as the Steve Morris kit.

I'm sure there are several companies making this kit.

@@jerrylauber7311 I went with the CHE kit and the quality and ease of installation was on point. Would recommend CHE to anyone looking to upgrade their LS rocker arms which is highly advisable.

All these bushing kits are JUNK. You can actually HEAR the stiction the bronze bushing creates rubbing on the steel trunnion. You can also FEEL immense stiction just pressing and turning in your hands! Imagine the how its creaking and heating up under 400 - 500 lbs of spring pressure. Summit makes a Comp "style" caged needle bearing trunnion kit that I will take my chances with. I have had the Summit bronze bushing trunnion kit in my LS3 for roughly 1000 miles and I can tell they are wearing down. The only time a bushing or plain bearing works properly is when it has a PRESSURIZED oil supply to create a hydrodynamic wedge of oil like a rod or main bearing. Splash oiling won't do it. You can hear these things creak and scrape when the car shuts off. Its not the "chirp chirp" of a failing lifter, it is more like a "creak" of scraping metal. Terrible products, I don't give a shit whose name is on the box. The bronze bushing LS trunnion kits are a MONEY GRAB for young guys that don't know any better!

And they are both junk. Without a pressure supply, you will get IMMENSE stiction from the plain bronze bearing (bushing) onto the steel trunnion shaft. Splash oiling is completely insufficient.

@@jaylestingi I don't buy at all at 1000 miles you can tell your bushing style trunions are weakening and wearing as you stated. Not saying they don't wear after a while, but I will take my chances with a bushing kit rather than a needle bearing type.
