  • Bering Yachts is pleased to announce the sale of the Bering 60 DZAM, an extraordinary vessel that has consistently demonstrated exceptional performance and reliability across various roles.
    The Bering 60 DZAM is part of the Explorer series. Like all of Bering’s models, she has been designed from the keel up to be a superb transoceanic yacht. Her contemporary interior design is a departure from the more traditional styling found on many of today’s passagemaking yachts, but her capabilities are that of a true bluewater voyager. Featuring a pilothouse deck, full displacement hull, and a range of over 3,000 nautical miles, she’s ready to carry you and your guests to wherever your destination lies, near or far.
    Bering yachts, with their stunning interiors and beautifully finished hulls, are extremely capable and reliable ocean-crossing vessels. Beyond using a time-tested and proven hull design, all Bering yachts are built "heavy for size" which provides a particularly sea-kindly motion that very few if any recreational motor yachts are capable of delivering, at least without active stabilization. A carefully designed low center of gravity combined with the sheer mass of the vessel provides a reduction in roll moment and minimized pitching and pounding that so many find unpleasant. This "heavy for size" approach is well proven in the commercial marine market where vessel "weight" is really how one defines a vessel's size as opposed to length. Note that the Bering 60 displaces 180,000 pounds at full load which is significantly more than her competitors!
    While at sea, one's peace of mind is of utmost importance, which is why in addition to the hull & structural design, Bering puts great emphasis on the reliability of all the ship’s systems. Many builders use “recreational” grade components on board their boats for obvious reasons; they are less expensive and their customer’s use profile simply doesn’t demand top-level commercial quality components be installed. Bering feels that any boat that is marketed as being “ocean-going” needs to have only the best most proven equipment and components on board. To this end, Bering specifies only commercially rated and internationally sourced equipment on board all of their yachts. This strict adherence to professional-grade equipment ensures the most trouble-free experience possible while out cruising, and in the rare case that you do experience a component failure, parts will be readily available regardless of your locale.

И второе,- для надежности электрооборудования, было бы неплохо устанавливать солнечные панели. С уважением и пожеланием здоровья!

    This will go on my new "Vision board"! But with the blue hull of the 80'! I owned previously a 50 pax aluminum vessel and would NEVER do that again!! Once it got a small crack which water was leaking into bilge! Could NEVER get it fixed!! Despite numerous attempts from experts, even the manufacturer made several attempts to no success!!! Seems aluminum absorbs all impurities it makes contact with, oil, water, anything and it just never bonded despite all soldering attempts! Steel will be my dream trawler! With a sealed water tight compartment that is to ensure it stays afloat in case of... Well an emergency, water intake! Congrats on a great vessel!!!

    Great looking boat but I have a question about the range. From what I've researched, to go round the world, the longest leg is Galapagos to Marquesas, at 3000 miles and this model only having a range of the same, with weather, currents, course deviation, I would think a planning range of 4000 at least is required. Are there other engine options? Engine remapping? Addition of solar and wind? Bigger fuel tanks? That would increase the range and make that feasible?

    • @SeanHendy
      @SeanHendy 9 років тому

      2917 nautical miles, for reference.

    • @Beringyachts
      @Beringyachts  9 років тому +7

      +Sean Hendy the range of Bering 60 can be pushed over 4000 NM by adding fuel tankage. This boat was designed with Mediterranean market in mind and has a great amount of windows in the saloon and a lot of open areas. For long range cruising, ocean crossing and circumnavigating, Bering 65 is better suited model. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need additional info at info@beringyachts.com

However luxury models maybe up to 35 or 40 cubic foot, and most likely will be Viking or Sub-Zero. The luxury models normally come with a heavier cardboard hull with pallet construction transoms of douglas fir or possibly Alder.
