I saw her back last August and honestly it was probably my favorite show ever.
I just watched the jagged pill concert and i felt sad that Hawkins passed away. What an awesome show that was. Thank you Alanis you are a legend.❤

I love the vid, I also love Alanis Morriette. I have 1 question though, is that all she did as a tribute. Put a image on a screen up or was their other things that happened on the show.
i know she had to go thorough hell with Taylor and his drug habbits back in the day, but if that was all she did then i feel likee it was a littler didrespectfull as he helped to shape her early career.
I think we all grieve differently. For example, on the T.H tribute last weekend on Wembley, many of his close musician friends weren't there, or invited, even bands that are predecessors of Foo Fighters, who Taylor admired, weren't there. And each of those artists that loved him paid their own respects to him in their own way when he passed.
Sometimes it's not up to us to judge who mourns "better" on stage.
When Chris Cornell died, Eddie Vedder (who was like a brother to him) barely even talked about him, only did the usual: an online post by Pearl Jam, a song for him on stage, visited his family, that's it. I expected him to be at the tribute, yet Eddie wasn't there.
Actually she helped him form his career! He played on tour but not original album.
