Plenty of times a good winch can save you too 👌
Go til it sounds expensive... lol
you have a high amp battery plug on the front of your truck , so a portable electric winch on 2 inch receiver keep on your truck ,would be a good idea.
Yankum Ropes are great!
30 seconds in the mud. 3 hours pressure washing. Still getting mud in your eyes on the next oil change. Priceless
Hi Stephen.
I just fixed the shroud for my 60 year old outboard with your baking soda and super glue trick.
Thanks for the great tip. 😁😎
It's a freaking amazing trick!
Unless you are totally sunk, most times it doesn't take a lot to pull a vehicle out. A rolling load is a lot different than a full load. That's why a small winch can be used to load a vehicle onto a trailer.
Man... If only there was a Ford 8N to provide just a little more pull...😉
I've recovered my own mechanic after getting my stuff home in the snow in my yard and his f250 twice after he got m2wd chevy home.
Yanked him out with the subie.
Guess what I should have driven to work that morning...
Next time air down your tires to about 7psi, off roaders do that for traction a lot
It's nice to have a tractor whenever you need it!
And if anybody wants to pick on me, the best advice I can give you is leave your equipment bone stock, it will last forever!
Now Justin will not have to grade that ditch for a few years! =)
We used to put an old tire between 2 chains.
I always carry tire chains- used them many times in the mud
Love your channel brother! God Bless in Jesus Name!
An even Best Idea would be a hydraulic winch, now your talking unstoppable.
I pull our trucks at work with my ram 3500 drw and they weigh 160,000 pounds. The key is the truck that is being pulled has its own power, the 2nd vehicle is just helping
You think of the winch on that side by side might have been 5,000 pounder but probably a 3,500 lb winch. You know a little side by side really was not pulling more than about 2,000 lb
I have been in that situation many times, did not have the Wt. like you did but never did have to be pulled out. One time I pulled two vehicles out a ditch at once with my F-150. However I did have one wheel of truck on pavement..Good job getting the heavy truck out...
I'd take luck over skill.....any day! LOL
I know I am kinda randomly asking but does anybody know of a good website to watch new series online ?
@Howard Talon flixportal xD
@Mekhi Finn thanks, I signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :D I appreciate it !!
@Howard Talon Glad I could help =)
Hey Stephen hi from Cody Wyoming 👍
Steven or fellow 7.3ers ( new *gang*..... my buddy had an oil change in his 2001 F250 7.3 and they put in 5 W 30 and now the vehicle will not start at all!! it start if we add starting fluid,,,, help help help... Arizona..70° F
My nieghbor was building his house and the truss semi couldnt get up his new gravel driveway since it hadnt packed down yet. He hooked his oliver 60? to help pull the loaded semi up the driveway. The oliver couldnt pull stuck semi but semi wasnt stuck just didnt have the traction so they got moving pretty good so oliver was in 6th gear out of 8 not much pulling power in that high of gear just some extra yank to get semi through like you. However his drawbar had a damaged bracket already now it was broke. The semi with the trusses partially off he got stuck so i rode my bike home since i was 15? at time and talked to dad. He got our JD 520 out and he dug nice holes but got the stuck semi out with a 25? hp tractor but those ol 2 cylinders were all about torque and now we were going downhill
Steven Cox? I thought you were Jonny Lunchbucket? Must be mistaken for another channel
I have put my truck in alot of places that it should never get in 2wd. The weight and momentum are always your friend.....untill they are not. Always helps when you shut off traction control. I watched a customer burry their truck tocthe framerail when refusing to give up.
Not a hater, but just ask the neighbor with the strap and the subaru tractor outback.
I got a green one that has been nicknamed the deere tractor subaru, bud.
Call if you can't find an excavator.
I'll get your lil f50 out
Hey bro I have a an older bobcat 742 skid steer that I think the hydrostatic pumps need rebuilt. Would you be interested in diagnosing it and also fixing it? I live here around alvarado burleson.
My prius goes up roads like that every day in logging country without trouble XD
I’m surprised you didn’t use the 2x4 trick. Glad you got it covered. Was that a can am 800 or 1000? You guys make a good team
It's a 1000.
I have facebook and email. Is there a way I can ask you a couple questions.
What I'm hearing is that you should have a winch on your service truck
i pulled a 18 wheeler with my 2006 rhino
you need boggers on your truck.thanks

Someone please make a 10 hour video of Stephen’s laugh. Amazing
Lol 😆
@@StephenCoxfixit UA-cam dead you have a risen from.
@@StephenCoxfixit how's Chucke?
You might want to get a new sticker for your window
I am looking for a obd2 phone app and was really bummed that torque pro wasn’t on iPhone what would be a good alternative. ( I drive a 1996 f250 7.3)
Iv read that iPhone users have good luck with Forscan. I haven't personally used that app though.
The truck wasn’t stuck, it was just resting.
And I still love my 89 super duty, best truck I've ever owned, not a ford hater, so easy to work on, like a gasser, but runs out on oil!
No kidding, my V10 loves to drink a little oil.
You see what had happened was
I would of just tied a 2X4 to the tire.
Woah. Havnt seen you in years. Are you ok? You look sick?
I changed my diet and started working out and living healthier about 3 years ago. Iv lost 50lbs so I do look a lot different.
@@StephenCoxfixit congrats bud.
Everyone's doing stuck vehicles on tube these days.....but i still watch em.
Agreed...luck counts!!!
But if you ever need a hook....
You got lockers in that beast? They might help.
The chuckles and fist bumps, say all that needs to be said LOL
Cool, loved this video. Great explanation with the cable and pulling to get unstuck. My Dad taught me that when you're pulling like that to also lay a heavy blanket or folded tarp on the cable so if it snaps the energy is absorbed into the blanket or tarp. I don't know how it exactly works, but the cable won't whiplash around. It just falls to the ground, but you still have to be careful. Flying cables or ropes can be really dangerous.
We have 21 acres that turns to glue anytime there's a little bit of rain on it. Our rule is that if the vehicle gets stuck just stop. As long as the tires don't dig ruts, it's usually pretty easy to pull it out with a side by side. All it needs is another vehicle that has a little bit better traction to get it moving laterally. We've tried both backing up the side by side and just using the winch. We find that backing up the side by side works better than trying to reel in the winch. Both are valid options though. The big thing is that once you quit moving forward don't dig a hole.
Good day for sure.
Hello from Virginia
You choked my brother out!
Thanks for letting him tap out! 😜
Ik this may be something you don’t want to answer but does chucke have any videos on some websites. New videos
Why? Do you need to speak to the racist?
Chucke no longer has any sort of social media presence. Here's his email if you want it
I would like to yes
Justin wanted to clean out the ditch! lol
Absolutely!
I have been to Justin's!
The guy in the side by side was doing everything as good as you, and doing it blind and backwards. ha ha ha
Tell justin to invest in so.e gravel
sometimes ya gotta let r buck! sadly it'll be nice to see mud again and not -21 in the dakota's
mattsoffroadrecovery products/matts-recovery-rope
Don't yank? Yea, you don't know how to pull vehicles out of the mud
Did you actually listen to what he said? You might want to listen again.
Looks like a east Texas mud hole. I don't miss it.
