Inhalation = Passive Exhalation = Active I really liked when you relayed this organic process to a pitcher winding up, a golfer/ hockey player swinging a club/hockey stick. Thank you for sharing, Maestro!
You had me confused when you described sores that one can get right in the center of of one’s lip as a “bump” . When I was in high school on the day of a big concert, I got a “ sore “ right in the center of my top lip. The conductor/ teacher was an excellent trumpet player . He took a look and while he didn’t say what caused it , he told me to go the the drug store and get some myrrh ( an ancient herb) Well today myrrh is still available at health food stores, but back in the 50s , all druggists had it . I applied it to my lip and in a few minutes the sore dried up ! Fast forward to 1986 … Chet Baker was playing downtown and I was hanging with him before the show when I noticed a large sore right in the center of his top lip . He had no myrrh and was about to hit. He said that he couldn’t play the trumpet, the sore was so painful. I then asked him what he was going to do , the place was packed . Chet said he was going to sing 🤣
Jim, the Chet story was awesome. ❤️❤️. I never got bumps in the center of my lips it was always to the left or right side. Good to know that Myrrh can fix this issue though I never had the issue again since following Slide Hampton's advice. If other people have this issue they can definitely try Myrrh to see if it can remedy the problem. Always great to hear from my dear friend Jim. 💯🎺❤️
