Despite knowing that there was a twist, that one guy ending up making wealth manifestation videos is killing me
And "me" doesn't rhyme with "trees"!!! You monsters!
@@iamjustkiwi ok but it literally does
@@tdcroissantwoods5841 it is technically not a rhyme since it does not end in the same sound me, ends in an e, while trees, ends in an s, so the end sounds are not the same. Me and tree are perfect rhymes since they have the same number of syllables and end in the same sound. This is an example of Assonance, which is the repetition of a vowel sound, not necessarily at the ends of words. So to show it is mE - trEEs, a rhyme would be mE -trEE. The reason why it sounds so off in the song is that it is trying to be rhymed not be used as assonance, which makes the song not flow well
@@Markusbarkus111 the type of person to say that for something to rhyme it must be a perfect rhyme 💀
You know what they mean, no need to flex your useless dictionary definition
@@Markusbarkus111 A rhyme doesn't have to hit on the very last sound.
Learning you're the "Buns" guy has altered my life view.
Really?
Same

amazing vid bro! thanks for having me be part of it. You're my second favorite youtuber after Brent Rivera.
Hope you get your kiss back from boris, I already did!
Such a good crossover
Holy shit Leo was the Buns Guy, that is legit one of my favorite vines of all time. It's all come full circle
Look at the buns in that vine.
pew pew
I am absolutely dumbfounded. I used to show that "buns" vine to people as THE perfect vine, and I had no clue you made it. The fact that I've separately shown your videos to friends is kinda insane. Keep being funny, you're really good at it.
Learning that Lance is still throwing poop at his grandma as pranks really cheered up my day not gonna lie. I've been feeling insecure about my choices in life or that things haven't changed much for me. But I guess I underestimated my growth cause at least I've not done what Lance did. There's a lot of comfort in that.
the ending shot of you in bed looking at your phone with the foreboding music is genuinely chilling. i don’t think i’ve ever seen a youtuber of my age capture our generation’s particular existential anxieties so accurately and vividly. i’m so glad you’ve finally garnered the following that your vines always deserved
Absolutely agree. Had a sense of tragedy about it. Very well done
Leo Vader is a wonderful person.
I'm convinced he didn't force you to say this at spoon point. Gotta love to see a genuine UA-cam friendship.
@Dmldc why you here bruh
Oh hey it’s Ben Marriott! Maker of really great motion graphic and animation tutorials!
My sister's friend dated Nash Greir for a while and I actually ended up meeting him at a family friend's graduation party a long time ago. He was the most bland, rude, and whiney dude I've ever met. He legit complained that there was nowhere for him to make a vine because there were too many people around. He kept talking about guys who he thought were guy and said "No, he's totally a f*g." And he told the girl graduating that he was going to buy a house that was nicer than her parents'. I had no clue who he was at the time other than what my sister told me and was so confused as to why he was famous.
To be fair he was a teenager back then. From what I can tell, he's chilled out considerably and seems to just be focusing on health and yoga so that's cool. My sister says she hasn't talked to him in years but that he became less douchey as he got older.
He posts photos of his underaged kids online. That's enough for me to dislike him.
Love this recap for us olds, though as an actual rural Ohioan, just a reminder that the Paul bros grew up in a rich Cleveland suburb. We have enough problems of our own. Please don’t attach them to us. 😅
Ah, a fellow resident of Hell
@@4dimensionalcat I thought that was in Michigan.
Ohio as a state gets hatewatched by the rest of the country tbh
As a fellow rural Ohioan thank you for your service
@@4dimensionalcat nah, OH is a liminal space
the plot twist into capitalism folk ukulele songs was truly special, great video Mr. Vader
"Money doesn't grow on trees
But that's not true for me"
I WAS IRRATIONALLY ANGRY THEY DIDNT SAY "MEES"
Leo has got to be the most consistently funny commentary UA-camr. I’m always laughing while watching.
Bro deserves way more subs then he currently is at
_but he's got HEART_
His videos and RLM are the only content on the internet that consistently make me laugh out loud. I'm not even talking about exhaling through my nose, I'm talking literal lols. He gives me the lols.
Such a crazy underrated comedian. Really fresh take on comedy. I almost never see the punchlines coming, and they always kill me.
That Aaron Paul punchline got a huge laugh outta me, iconic
I'm glad that a lot of creators are going through the "self reflection about why younger me was kind of an idiot / jerk" period.
We Stan a personal growth king
That reminds me of a clip I saw a few weeks ago of Keemstar boasting about how his opinions hadn't changed at all in years and that he was exactly the same as he was in his 20s. He really thought it was a positive attribute, so damned funny.
Also yeah, you're completely right. I was such a damned idiot even just ten years ago, embarassing shit to be sure.
Thank God personal growth is possible. I've seen Philip DeFranco talk about it occasionally too, he has a really good take on it as well.
@@christopherhammond5142 Yeah, I remember watching Phil DeFranco in middle and high school (late 2000s to early 2010s) and certain things he might say that were slightly offensive (mostly lite Misogyny) didn’t really phase me because I was either too young, being a dumb teenage boy, to get it or it was just more socially “acceptable” or at least more ubiquitous at the time and he’s definitely acknowledged that it was immature and stupid and It’s nice to know people in the public eye are capable of personal growth and accepting and moving on from one’s mistakes.
@@L33tSkE3t It’s nice that he’s grown from that but he was still a grown man at the time. These vinera were teens so it’s understandable that they had immature behaviour *edit: viners
@@nala6846 it is funny when people lump in teenage "influencers" /their stupidity as a teenager with very grown adults who made those same mistakes. Which makes them less mistakes, and more like bad decisions lmao.
You should get a Nobel prize for "Mr. Least."
“I like spending (money) on goods and services” and that’s why I keep coming back leo. that relatable content you just can’t get anywhere else on youtube
And here's something weird: He hangs out with Nathan Zed. They do skits together sometimes. And his name is never in the titles or anything, he's just part of the crew and pops up sometimes. The best UA-camr on the platform. That's weird, right?
as someone who recently stopped my hate watching habits, dedicated myself to watching content that makes me genuinely happy? my internet experiences are so much less anxiety-inducing and so much more enjoyable
I remember going through this phase as a young adult. I just rationalize it as there is infinite content and only a finite amount of time to consume it, so I choose to focus on things I like. I still l enjoy hatewatching things sometimes, but in moderation. There's so much great content out there, like this video! Or going outside.
I have more time than I do content, personally.
Leo your buns vine is like in the top three of all vines ever. It's up there next to Drew Gooden's "Road work ahead" and, and, and, ahhhh... shit, what was the other one again? Eh, I forgot, but the buns vine is really funny!
the lore is crazy
your comedic timing is insane, it ALWAYS gets me
The buns Vine is one of my favorite vines ever!! Just goes to show how easy it is for good stuff to be overlooked
Holy fucking shit, you're the buns vine guy???? That's literally my favorite vine ever, I could never find who originally made it and now I finally know. I'm legitimately flabbergasted
finding out that your niche is painfully honest introspection presented by deconstructing trends from the previous three decades must have been bittersweet. Keep making the quality content Leo.
Nathan randomly popping up in this video made me so happy
I have never watched something that actively made me feel that incredibly uncomfortable until now. You’re a real one for actually searching and watching all that to make a video
The buns vine unlocked a long forgotten memory of my childhood
your videos take the viewer on a journey, where it bounces around alot from one thing to the next, but they are super comprehensive and really easy to follow. well thought out, actually funny and fun to watch
this is a really meaningful compliment to receive, thanks very much! i do put a lot of thought into the path i take through the topic.
The weekly chris segment is so bizarre lol, what a weird trajectory
I love how these videos start off with me laughing along naively and by the end I'm fully encompassed by the introspection
holy shit you made the bun vine?? that's one of my favorites
Cool to see Nathan Zed on a Leo Vader video, two of my favorite UA-camrs collabing
the way the lighting and atmosphere in these vids consistently gives the impression your house is zathurad in space no matter what room you're in is great continuity a+
Hatewatching anything is so addictive because hate is an emotion that we rarely find opportunities to express in non-destructive ways. There's honestly no harm in watching something just to clench your fist and hate it (so long as you don't let it consume your headspace) and it's actually a pretty good way to vent negative emotions by giving you something inconsequential to funnel them into.
I had this belief when I was a depressed 19 year old.
The bit with Nathan Zed had me laughing hysterically in my car. I can't wait to rewatch this video in my car, I'll be sure to lookout for any missed details!
in my car
@@friendlyneighborhooddg do you live in your car delano
@@friendlyneighborhooddg why are you going to watch this again so soon. your catalogue of subscriptions/suggested videos are, i infer, dry.
Leo did not have to go this hard, but bless you for it my good man
I can always count on a Vader Vid not to make me feel less depressed, but at the least to feel less alone. So thanks
An auditorium full of people getting up and cheering when Blake Hester pops on screen like it's a comic book movie.
No joke, whenever i hear sirens in the neighborhood i yell "im not going back to jail!" just like the buns vine
Bro I dunno why I wasn't already subbed to you I immediately clicked on this video because I remembered your face and how much I laughed at the last video of yours I watched. I don't even remember the subject of the video but I remembered how funny you were. I think it's only a matter of time before more people recognize your talent and this channel blows up. I want to apologize again for not subscribing sooner, I'm looking forward to whatever else you bring.
“I wanted that Teen Roast money”
haven’t we all brother, haven’t we all
the reveal that youre the buns guy is harrowing, reality warping, entropy at work.
You’re the buns guy??!!! I’ve quoted that shit so many times. You deserve to be awarded best vine ever for that.
This was GOLD, LEO!!! I swear every video surprises me with how much better it is than the last, but this one was the BEST BY FAR I'M GONNA SHARE IT TO EVERYONE I KNOW!!! KEEP IT UP ♥️
I had no idea you made my favorite vine, I'm really glad I found your UA-cam channel
This video is not what I expected it would be. And I love it! This is possibly my fav video from you right now. And I had no idea you were the guy that made that buns vine, I love that one!! The format of your videos reminds me of old Linkara or Nostalgia Critic, but you're somehow not cringe. And that's such a special sweet spot. This video is so honest, I've felt the same way over the years. That gross envy I felt when I was a teen seeing those people succeed. It was very pleasant how you opened the video with a "where are they now" part, where we can see how they've become good adults. Im happy all of us could grow out of that funky teen phase of our lives. Not all of us, but it's nice to think so, yknow?
Just wanted to say it genuinely makes me so happy to see how well you’re doing on UA-cam, Leo! Loved your humor and personality since your days at Game Informer and the Overblood group 💙
Appreciate the usage of the incredible soundtrack of Immortality
Leo's "taking discord poker astronomically too seriously" joke was the first belly laugh I've had in a while from a UA-cam video, thank you
this may be a slightly bizarre comment to leave but I'm so glad Leo is who he is. every time I've gone to watch a new creator because they make content on my interests I end up finding a video where they say a slur and its like "well that's ruined". its nice to be able to binge all of Leo's vids and just feel at ease knowing he's a decent human who lives his passion and points out when ppl do inappropriate shit.
do u watch drew gooden? i have a feeling you may like his content
Super agree with this. Leo is truly a great person, and proves that you don't need to be mean or controversial to make good comedy.
@@lamibonxd drew gooden defecated through a sunroof

You're content is so consistently high quality and hilarious it's very impressive :)
The amount of times I have quoted the buns Vine, not knowing who created it, and all this time it was you!
This level of comedy is amazing. The switch between subtle and on the nose is simply wonderful!
that breathy manifesting wealth song was more horrifying than every horror movie and series i binged this month
Leo is the most friend shaped youtuber. amazing vibes. i feel like hanging out with him would be chill af.
Friend shaped wtf
@@maddieb.4282 hes shaped like a friend
good vid, Leo. jokes funny. content relatable. I like how your face was in it.
leo you’re getting too good, i keep wishing this video was longer, each video is a blessing and a curse
Another point, Nathan Zed said exactly what I’ve been putting into practice: “stop watching content that pisses you off”
unfortunately this has also stemmed into not watching a lot of other commentary channels as it feels like hate watching by proxy, but it’s very solid advice!
Just stumbled onto your channel today and I must say after just having a tumour removed from my leg, 2022 has just gotten immeasurably better! Thanks Leo, appreciate all the laughs and wish you got that sweet buns clout you deserved all those years ago.
This man can’t miss
Nick Cannon just wants to be an influence in thousands of his kids' lives
I KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT YOU! how did I never realize you made my favourite vine?!
It's only libel if it's in writing.
What we have here is slander
well i wrote it first.
Dang, Leo, look at you with your big long list of patrons! Great work!
I like just found your channel recently and I really like how deep you get with your topics. Like I know "stop watching things that make you upset" isn't super deep, but you explored your own journey with it which was cool
This video was incredible Leo! You do such a great job at being funny while also being reasonable and reflective of your own motivations. I absolutely love it
I would do anything for a Leo Vader vine compilation, knowing that you made the bun one has blown my mind, it’s GOLD, I hope all that footage wasn’t thrown into the abyss with vine
This is wild shit but 6 degrees of Leo Vader, I briefly played in a band with Kyle over a decade ago. Didn't expect to find a mutual with someone I found solely through UA-cam lol.
Great shit btw, been watching for about a year
Few times I actually laughed hard out loud during this. That doesn't happen much. Great video again, youre the best!
I’ve been a UA-cam troll for many years and I somehow just now came across your channel. Your shit is great. You’ve legitimately made me LoL which doesn’t happen from UA-cam video essays very often.
Just because I’m drunk rn doesn’t take away anything.
Finally! Been waiting for you Mr v.
This is literally exactly what I needed today
I think its really cool how he's grown and matured past needing to feel superior to the old popular viners even though he's better than them
Loving the vintage nostalgia critic vibe on the start of that ad segment
i am a wealth magnet. it’s all rigged on my behalf
the aaron paul joke was really good but also holy shit dude when did you get 150k subs what the hell
Really cool overall concept to the video, really well-written.
Can confirm the Lance guy stages his content. My friends ran into him at a Walmart and he asked them to be in a "prank" vid where the joke was gay panic.
Damn this hit unexpectedly hard
could be the very specific nostalgia talking but this what my favorite video i've seen in a long time. you're like the vincent van gogh of vine when i think about it......
Extremely good video. Peak Leo Vader. I’d watch it again if I ever watched any videos a second time which I don’t.
The Boris guy being inexplicably jacked now is hilarious. Good for him
“And I *do* mean that in the war criminal sense” was one of the funniest throwaway lines I’ve ever heard lol.
dudeee a Nathan Zed collab?? This video is already a classic!!
Ayo Nathan is in this Lets goo love you both and had no idea y'all know each other! Let's go
Why do your videos speak directly to my soul, as if your life experiences are similar to mine (which is impossible because I'm very special)?
Oh my gosh I've been watching your videos for a while but I never knew you were the buns vine guy. That's legitimately one of my favorite vines ever and me and my friends quote it on the reg. My mind is blown. Turns out I've been enjoying your content a lot longer than I thought.
Praise be, another Leo video
Oh my god the buns vine was my favorite of all time I had no idea it was you
I had not had the privilege of seeing the buns video you will forever be UA-cam man for me
“Comedy police! The joke’s too funny!”
it's fascinating how well the IMMORTALITY soundtrack works for this video
love the nathan zed feature
THE BUNS VINE WAS YOU????? MY WORLD WILL NEVER BE THE SAME
Man I love your videos, they're just so well written!
Wait a second… that’s a replica Colt Peacemaker .357 six shot revolver made by Denix in Spain. I have that exact same gun
Not surprising the Comedy Police got Leo
Finally, Leo acknowledges the buns vine
good god this was brilliant
I love the writing on this video
