This game defines my childhood and life. And the music reminds me of a happier, simpler time.
BionicStryder Me too. I wish I could go back in time
Exactly! Those were the best times.
Let the emu's do their thing.. ; -)
Sure was. Damn this game kicked ass
You nailed it! The good ol days!!!
This to me will always be the best Crash Bandicoot game. Best music, best levels, everything.
I prefer Crash 3
@@sebastianaliandkulche and that’s fine. That’s why I said “to me”
@@ProneTurtle I agree !
Torn between all 3😁😁
@@sebastianaliandkulche too many mini-game vehicle type levels in Warped.
Still a great game, but Cortex Strikes Back was pure platforming at its best.
Didn't rely on gimmicks as much.
0:00 The warp room music brings on extreme nostalgia. This is why I love youtube.
yup i agree with you
Ryan692 If you ever get the chance to play it again, invite the friends who played it with you if any did. I did a couple of weeks ago and had the time of my life! XD
this game is kult
I like very much the song at 1:17:37
Alessio Chiarelli yes yes nostalgia
32:23 alright everybody, sing it with me. dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun......DUN DUN DUN!!!!
Love it!!
I came searching for this soundtrack just to hear this one again. So much feels
Actually I can play this one on piano and yeah, it's simple xD
GREAT
...But you missed one "dun".
I've met all my lifetime friends thanks to Crash, I remember I was in 2nd grade and on my way home when I asked if this guy knew Crash Bandicoot and he said yes, so we started our friendship by playing in each other's house, then we met others who also loved Crash, one guy who particularly prefered Crash 2 and he was the first one to ever find some of the secret levels, I was the one who found them in Crash Warped, which is my favorite! I've moved away it's been 7 years and now, through social medias, we still talk about the N. Sane Trilogy and the upcoming Nitro-Fueled and we all wish we could be together to play these.
What do you guys think of crash 4, I personally like it a lot but it's far from being as good as the og's, especially in terms of music, atmosphere and immersion. Also I expected high level of graphic details and very good lighting but I guess I expected too much. The level design and the amount of levels and their length is very good, my favorite part of this game.
@@MonkeyDPirateKing Crash 4 is fun but designed very weirdly. Why they chose to bring back the map hub from Crash 1 instead of an authentic Warp Room is beyond me. I'd have kept the Warp Room scenarios and you fix the problem of redundancy by making the Warp Rooms much much larger and with two or three bosses per warp room and way more levels. I'd also have kept the motorcycle levels and blimp levels even though a lot of people hate em, I like the blimp levels and the motorcycles are ok just frustrating. The graphics of Crash 4 are actually its strongest point IMO.
@@MonkeyDPirateKing wanna know what i think about crash 4 ? I think it is blasphemy to call that garbage crash 4
@@amandawilliams1963 Cringe
I forgot of how much of a banger the soundtrack for this game is even after all of these years
Never forget again, this is a masterpiece
I learned English after I played this awesome game. Back then I didn't realise how funny the level names actually are :D
Haha cool
Haha same story here man, back then to me they just didn't make any sense
Had english 1st language, they're funnier now knowing.. what does words mean in ... that context rofl.
Piston it away is still my fave name
Congrats on learning English, the level names all punny!
55:25-1:06:37 That was always my favorite Crash Bandicoot song. It is so catchy for some reason.
This song i remembered from when i was 7 and played this game all the time man, i agree, it is!
sounds like a depeche mode song
Sewer or Later/The Eel Deal right? Of course mine too!
@@Zaheri9 could be!
The bass part at 56:34 never fails to make me bob my head. FAVORITE part of the song.
The best feeling in the world is when you're cleaning your house and you find an old game, such as this one. Then you hurry to unplug your recent console and hook up your old PS1. Ahh, the nostalgia
Even through the unaware sufferings, my childhood was still intact with games like this
So nostalgic for me. I recently bought the trilogy for PS5 and only ever played the second crash. Instantly I knew the music was a little different and updated so I had to check and make sure lol. Wish they kept it the same
Tbh "rock it" is a masterpiece by itself
hell yeah it is
I played this game when I was quite young, about 7 or 10, I can't quite remember. I loved the Eel Deal tune so much that I began humming it so much that over the years I actually forgot where I got it from. That's the impact the catchiness had on me!!!
24:07 - Hang Eight, Air Crash, Plant Food
THIS IS SURF MUSIC !!
I love this game series
Nice xD
rolling boulder at 4 am moment
My mom used to play the original Crash games when I was a kid on the PS1. I used to watch her and would sometimes attempt to copy her, even though I had no idea what the hell I was doing. Ah, good times. I still play them on my PS2 and yet I still can't master them like my mom could.
Wow omg My mum used to play the original BEFORE I was even BORN DAMN!😯 that's how I got to love these games as a child 🤗💜😍😊
Haha that was the exact same thing for me. My mum played it and tought me how to play it XD
Mark Mothersbaugh did not need to go this hard on the soundtrack. But he did and god bless him. These beats slap
Josh Mancell did the OST for PS1 Crash Games
55:25 The Eel Deal,Sewer or Later,Hangin Out
1:53:56 Piston It Away,Spaced Out
nostalgia
Josh Marcell was the primary composer for the soundtrack, but you can hear his boss Mark Mothersbaugh's influence in a lot of the songs, *ESPECIALLY* in the Piston It Away/Spaced Out tracks (unsurprisingly given they're new wave techno-pop songs, which Mothersbaugh and the band he co-founded, Devo, were most well-known for.
What a masterpiece of a plattformer. This was one of The first games I ever played, first on The ps1. I love this game to death with it being on my top 3 Favourite games of all time. This is definantly my Favourite in The series with warped being my second Favourite. BTW: one of my Favourite soundtracks of all time.
I'd love to know what's your Top 3, number 1?
49:12 - Hang Eight, Air Crash, Plant Food - Skull Road
This is such a Rock Lobster - B52's inspired track.
Such a good track!
one word to describe Crash music: "Whoa!"
Enter the level air crash. Go until you reach the dock. There should be a bounce box and a square tile on the right side. Get up on the far right post of the dock, bounce on the bounce box and land on the tile. It will warp you to a secret warp room. Hope this helps!
Tim Collins Jr even my grandma knows that shit
Life was so simple back then.
4:14 this part is my favorite, so nostalgic...
Best thing to listen to when shifting through psychology papers for a university assignment. Thank you for the superb upload.
It's a lot more music than I expected
This OST has a lot of effort because how much they wanted to sound unique (and succeeded)
I remember playing this all the time with my dad when I was younger. Man, those were good times.
this still slaps so hard.
My little kid me didn't know english enough to understand the amount of puns and aliterations in the level names.
Boy are there quite a few.
Can't wait to hear what this is going to sound like Remastered on the Ps4!!!
I AM SO EXCITED!
BODY IS READY!!!
gonna be our childhood remastered! any vague idea of when it's coming out?
Tadeo Galvan
They never revealed a release date. But my guess would be late next year. :( I hope it's much sooner.
ME TOO
memories!! my first own ps1 game ever!
+PahviTheCat same
Same
mee 2
same!!!
I still remember just haning out in the levels to hear the music, I did the same with Spyro the Dragon, they don't make 'em like this anymore.
Turtle woods, eel deal, sewer or later and just hangin are the bestliest
First video game that I recall playing. Great times!!!!
My all-time favorite Crash game. 20 years and counting...
16:02 ♥ Siempre ha sido mi favorito me trae muchos recuerdos
45:13 I'll always remember this tune from the demo of the game. 👍 So nostalgic.
oh my god the nostalgia, 10 years since the last time I played it and the soundtrack sounds even better now
Hearing the Warp Room after getting the crystal/gem/hidden/relic feels so relieving especially when crash does his dance
4:14 I am now 31 years old, when I heard this clip of music, I remembered my childhood and the PlayStation 1 days, I really cried
This game could be so hard, but the great soundtrack could really keep you going. It stays with me to this day!
Boulder levels, man...Those were THE levels.
N. Gin's design is still my fave of the OG Crash villains too (I mean, from the OG trilogy). I will always love his tech and hopes that he continues to be awesome. With all the new music related fights he's been partaking in, I say he should be a musician.
Lo bueno del crash 2 es que sus bonus y rutas mortales tiene más variedad a diferencia que el crash 3 que tenían la misma melodía solo con diferentes instrumentos
In less than 12 hours we will be enjoying our childhood again on PS4, 20 years later :')
Oh my god Tiny Boss is such a bop. Memories, man.
The best Crash Bandicoot❤❤
One of top 5 favorite full soundtracks 🤘
This reminds me of times sitting in the living room playing these games with beloved brothers. Sadly we've all grown up and we'll never get to do that again, but I'm so grateful we did and made those memories. God I love them so much, there is nothing like the relationship between brothers.
I really believe this soundtrack is better than the remake soundtrack.
32:23 when you listen as an adult and realize that Josh Mancell loves teh METAL
My god this game was amazing. I played the shit out of it as a kid.
Best Soundtrack of Crash Games!!!
It is by far. Crash 3 only surpass it with the bosses' themes.
+AlberichGamer My thoughts exaclty. Though I do think the boss themes in 2 are SLIGHTLY better, with the exception of Tiny and Cortex's themes.
Yh the Jet pack one sounds so romantic
I prefer Crash 3 and CTR soundtrack
I am 13 years old and I continue to play this wonderful game.
Right on!
Try "Crash Bash" (year of 2000) - it is great too. Especially if you like co-op :)
This whole soundtrack should definitely be considered for Classical music genre, especially Rock It/Pack Attack track, it's like the whole orchestra is playing, magnificent and beautiful!
Rob C couldn’t agree more, I just recently started looking into these old games and I’m blown away over how good these soundtracks are. So much better than what’s out today. I overlooked this when I was a kid. These soundtracks don’t get enough recognition, but I doubt they’re of much meaning to those who have no feeling of nostalgia for it.
I swear, if I was a world-recognized conductor, I would force my orchestra to play this :D
Thanks for uploading 😊👍
Maaan! "Snow Go..." and "Hang Eight..." were so much in my mind!! 2 of my favourite songs in this game! Awesome childhood times!! Can't wait for the remasters!!!
Hearing 1:53:54 and remember the hours spent getting both gems in Piston It Away... *shudders*
I used to play crash bandicoot 2 when I was little ❤
Memorable and definition of awesome.
The urges to make a jungle track out of this soundtrack are too high
those drums at 3:30
still my favourite game ! ^ ^
this brings back good old memories :)
THANKS FOR UPLOADING! :D
I still struggle choosing between 2 & 3 for my overall favorite, but 2 might have my favorite soundtrack.
Holy memories... I remember always calling the mask guy and ooga booga, when we got him. Calling Cortex Nitro Nerd. Power sliding off the flamingos. Jumping on the dog for the extra lives. Hiding from bees. Belly flopping the bonus areas. I need to find theis game again.
One of my very first games
55:24 Sewer or Later, The Eel Deal - the best song of all the original trilogy, even Warped which has the biggest amount of great tracks!
Love un-bearable music fits the stage so well.
ataque de nonstalgia en 3, 2, 1 ..... :'D *SNIF*
:')
Lovely music which causes tremendous nostalgia.
The first video game I ever played when I was like 3. Still replay it occasionally.
I feel as though CCR's "Down on the Corner" had an influence on the Turtle Woods music :)
Man, the nostalgia x.X
Trilha sonora de um jogo de 1997 que em pleno 2018 ainda me impressiona.
2:01:10-2:04:59 the best for me!
For two xd
X3
Name of the song? Please
@@jonathanjosue155 rock it
The Hang Eight skull road theme was the most intense and terrifying anthem to my childhood.
All crash soundtrack is awesome :D
I'm listening to this while working.
Love how the music for Cortex is as short as the fight usually lasts in game
My first ten games were,
Crash Bandicoot
Spyro
Crash Bandicoot 2
Crash Bandicoot 3
Spyro 2
Oddworld: Abes Oddysee
Pandemonium
Heart of Darkness (Hard as hell. If you've played it, you'll know.)
Tunguska
Fade to Black
+Vanpyro Gaming Space Invaders on the Atari 2800 for me.I was near 30 when the ps 1 came out.
+Vanpyro Gaming The biggest revolution in gaming was Virtua Racing and Virtua fighting and ridge racer in the arcades and then when Ridge Racer came to ps1 ,it was a huge thing.
Virtua Racer was amazing for it's time.
Great list. Mine had Twisted Metal, Ocarina of Time, and Super Mario 64 thrown in there as well. And yes, Heart of Darkness was hard as shit lol.
This
And also Medi Evil and PacMan World
replace abes oddysee with exidous, pandemonium with rollcage 2, heart of darkness with roadrash, tunguska with gex enter the gekko and metallica fade to black whit collin mc'rae and u gots my first 10 babe
Wow that is some well composed music.
Why does this video not get more love. Best soundtrack on youtube of a very good game.
I don't get nostalgia of playing this but I do have nostalgia of countless hours watching my brother play it.
The soundtrack of my childhood 💖💖
The soundtracks of Crash games are among the best of PS1
man.. as a kid this game got me hooked on games
Me diverti muito com essa trilha sonora.
God damn it the memories are crrrreeeeppppiiinnnnggg
Reem from 4 years ago!
Crash Bandicoot games are my first and favorite video games. I have good memories of the sewer levels on Crash 2.
I love this Tiny Boss, so funny!!
Oh sweety-sweet childhood of mine...
Crash bandicoot fue mi infansia :)
One of the best games i ever played in my life.
this almost takes me to the good old days were I played this.I passed the game 5 times in the row!!!!!!!
Glorious game!
This was my first Crash game and i loved it. The music is sooo good. Nostalgia fever...*cries*
My best speedrun was 1 hour (with all collectibles).
My favorite of the first 3 games even though i suck at all of them and haven't played warped.
I'm lovin it...
I think Crash Bandicoot 3 is overall a better game, but this soundtrack is legendary, and stands in a league of its own in comparison to the other two games.
Ahhh flashbacks 😫😫😣😣
i love the puns for the levels, i love the level designs, i love the music for the levels, i love the secrets in the levels, i love the bosses that come after the levels, but....... I love the game and its levels so of course :D :D :D
i love the game too
+02superspeed my favorite game of all time!
02superspeed gotta admit the music is some of the best in video game history
