Have watched 3 of your videos today and enjoyed each one! Thank you for showing us how easy it can be to make lovely garments without a sewing machine. The knit fabrics are great for no fraying and one can just cut and put on! Thank you for some great ideas.
That skirt is beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing this. It looks so easy and yet I’m still worried about trying it because I am so new at making clothing. But I will try this. Again thank you so very much for those of us new at this!!
Thank you so much🤗🤗 I really appreciate your kind words. I know you can definitely do this, and I’m sure yours would turn out beautiful as well. If you’re still worried, you can follow the steps and practice on a piece of paper. When you feel more confident, you can try it on your fabric. I can’t wait to see yours. When you make your skirt, please send me a picture of it on Instagram @the_silem 🥰🥰
If your waist circumference is 46 inches, simply place the zero (0) mark of your tape on the 46 inch mark of your tape. This would fold your tape once. Then fold your tape one more time, place it on your folded fabric and cut. Please re-watch 2:25
Wait, I am very very new to DIY repurposing clothes and I don't understand how the very last step went straight to you wearing it. Can someone explain? Again, very new at this so please be gentle 🙏 😂! Also it looks amazing and you are very pretty!

Thank you 🥰 I used a belt to hold it on my waist. Alternatively, you can add a waist band, but that would be a sewing version.
