Ok. This video was awesome for me except, I am a bit late to the game here. I have a program that needs to open in IE (UPS Worldship program) in order to function and I prefer Google for my other programs. The instructions to get it to do this on the UPS website read as follows: Certain Microsoft® Edge web browser settings will prevent WorldShip links from opening correctly when using Windows 11. If using Windows 11, ensure your Default Browser setting “Let Internet Explorer open sites in Microsoft Edge” is set to “Incompatible sites only” so links from WorldShip continue to work as intended. If you experience issues and notice the default setting is set to “Always”, open Edge and change the setting back to ‘Incompatible”. My question is, how do I get to the part where I can see "let IE open sites in ME is set to "incompatible sites only"? It goes no further than to tell me I have to set it up, but not how to set it up for just them or even how to get to the selection of "incompatble sites" ?
Why didn't you include that Microsoft Edge considers Google Chrome as a virus every time you install a new Windows 11 and use Edge once to search for Google Chrome, Edge says that this is an unsafe and dangerous browser or that Windows 11 simply hides many features and people have to spend hundreds of hours to find those features.
Does the same method apply if My new desktop in in S mode? I dont believe so since microsoft only lets you use apps from the " microsoft store ". So if not, then I have to remove the s mode permanently, and opinions on Y T conflict. ( based on usage ).

This is the best explanation I've seen. Only problem, I don't get the "set as default" line that you show at the 2:00 mark. Any ideas?
Thank you so much bro
No problem

I have downloaded chrome so many times using edge on new PCs and this has never happened. Loosen up your privacy settings
Chrome is not listed in my default apps
Hi there, mind doing another video on how to turn off instagram's automatic app updates? They've either moved or removed the setting :(
Won't let me download Chrome. Shiws that it is there. But Won't let me sign in
Mine do not say set to defult brower at the top!! What is goning on? I looked to see if it was moved to the bottom but no
You could try double checking to see if you are running the most up to date version of Windows 11.
@@NorthernVikingEveryday thank you. that was the problem. after I updated i was able to see that set to default option.
Perfect 👍 Glad it worked.
Honestly man just tell us how to install google as default app as windows 11 doesn't have google preloaded in its setting, stop wasting our time.
