Great seeing you out there, Rob!
By the way, I love that Faster/Slower data overlay! Very fancy. I need that as a HUD in my helmet while I'm driving lol

@@nholmes AIM solo does it too with the lights. However I can program the lights on my timer to do it by any metric I choose. When reviewing data I can choose to compare the time slip rate to a PB lap, the fastest rolling continuous lap, or a theoretical best lap based on all sectors combined into a "perfect lap".

@@StinkyT0fu It's a purple panda lapel mic. $35 bucks off of Amazon. I run it from the go pro out the trunk and clip it on the bumper.
Thanks for the support. I knew the RC1 was fast but, I didn't think it was 55 or even 54 capable. Data trace shows it out performing RE71rs in most corners and especially through the sweeper (the only corner that counts cause it's flat and non aero dependent). That's kinda shocking.

@@roboks2k agree. I thought rc1 didn’t have peak performance that could compare to re71rs or a052.

@@StinkyT0fu it's probably just the first 3 heat cycles but it's a good tire.Very few people like the vague feeling, but I do. I find these types of tires more progressive. My car, or maybe more importantly my inner ear is tuned to these types of progressive, non-peaky, and vague feeling tires.
Makes me wonder about that new Maxxis VR2 🤔

Nice work. Shocks "look" a bit harsh over certain bumps and kerbs. I know you're testing new valving. How is it in the realm of feel? Does it feel loose over the kerbs/sharp bumps when you hit them?
Car and your driving still impeccable as always!

@@kindledlight Buttonwillow's bumps now are part of the secret to going fast there. It is seriously horrendous, but also a good proving grounds. A fast car at Buttonwillow is fast everywhere.
The new valving is way faster than the previous set up. I ended up adding 1 click of rear compression and that helped a lot. The car eats big bumps and curbs without any issues. It remains extremely well balanced and comfortable. I can get it turned in and stay on throttle through the wild stuff. Highly recommend Guy Ankeny for any shock tuning.

@roboks2k Ok that explains why it looks so violent. It reminds me of Sebring's final corner with how jumpy the car gets over them. Glad to know it feels good though, thats whats important. A lot of improperly dampened setups end up getting super jerky or snappy over bumps but your car still seemed quite stable which is why I was curious. Super cool that its faster now too! Keep up the good work. Always happy to see your write ups and growth with the car.
