Now retired, am still a US citizen (and file my US taxes annually) but I am married to a Canadian, & currently hold dual citizenship. Canada is great place to live! Its people are wonderful and open.
I live in North Dakota. Every weekend, carloads of Canadians drive down here to shop, filling our hotels. In a 48-hour time period, each Canadian is allowed to spend $800 in the USA. And they do! Canadians load up their shopping carts with breakfast cereal, chicken, cheese, coffee and tea, shoes, clothing, bras, DIY supplies (shingles, paint, windows, gardening tools), small appliances, etc. Why? Because our prices in North Dakota are 30 to 50 % less expensive than in the province of Manitoba. And unlike Manitoba, we don't have a 13 % tax on everything. Canadians also come down here for faster (but much more expensive) medical treatment. They come down here for less expensive eyeglasses, as well.

That is better than going bankrupt after a serious hospitalization.
@@raulramirezcorona2130 its better than dieing because you cant get in to ER thanks to wait times? Wtf are u saying?
Honestly, between that and going into debt for hospital bills, I'd rather have the former.
My mother's $6000/mth cancer drugs were paid for by the CDN gov't. Ruminate on that for a while. My father had free hip replacements & knee replacements done and stayed in a recovery facility for 7 months without getting billed afterwards. Arguments against these facts are futile. I saw it with my own eyes. My folks didn't have to sell their house to pay for a doctor to treat them. Profit motivation in medicine is an impediment to the public's health. Save the greed for banking, beer and iPhones, not for helping to keep people healthy and alive.
My father had bypass surgery in a week of diagnosis, fully covered and we paid $49 bucks for parking and medication when he was released

I'm just going to say it since everyone else is making nonsensical comments, Trudeau needs to go !
Biggest loser in Canadian politics 🤣 Counting the days until the next federal election! Bye bye 👋🏼
You are a Trump fan, ergo your moral sucks.
How do we get rid of this guy
We love Ryan George also. (Pitch Meeting/ScreenRant)
Super easy, barely an inconvenience.
@@doc8013Oh, really? 😮
because he's Tight!
As a person from Michigan we appreciate our northern neighbors. The new Gordie Howe Bridge is only one example of our appreciative cooperation between our nations.🇨🇦🇺🇸
Wtf is he doing on a talk show while Canada is up in flames?! 😳🤯😵💫😂
You really are a pathetic plunker
Stephen, I have to give you an update. You have been providing us with the most interesting , talented people . As we stare at the ballot box in our dreams at night, it's not quite as traumatic when we tune into your show before retiring.
Turdeau is the opposite of talented, unless of course you count his countless scandals and crimes against the canadian people. the fact he got fired from teaching for inappropriate relations with his 14 year old student. this list goes on..
Canadians dont like Trudeau. A far Hollywood lefty commie like his mother and colbert
This is just pathetic….
Trudeau is a talented swindler, and that's about it.
Love that he referred to putin as "a bit of a problem" 😂
“You don’t get that every day”. Understatement of the year.
Someone says "My country is the best country in the world" in front of an american audience and isn't stoned to death to prove him otherwise!?
What is this witchery?
It'd be ironic if you're a Trump supporter. He's always 'the best'.
Canada
Canada, right now is broken. Thanks to this prime minister
It's called India now
Not bad for a name change eh 👍
As a born & raised Canadian 🇨🇦 from the ‘50’s, our Government & current PM have never been perfectly pristine, but I can tell you, I’d much rather deal with Canadian Politics than the s**t show going on in the States right now.
This guy took one of the best country in the world and fucked it in every single hole possible. Holes we didn't even know existed. Guy is hated so much all over Canada, even his wife ditched him.
Pollievre for 24th in 2024! Couldn't agree more with this graphic and true analogy.
Agree from BC
Fuck I just wish we could get Harper back, a relatively boring responsible adult, and an economist. I had a friend run into him and his son in Vegas along with some minor security, said he was a nice guy and was a little drunk haha
@@ChristaCoubroughreally? That liar? Fact check whatever he is saying - he is almost like Trump. I only like his immigration plans but that’s it! If you are smart enough to fact check and not be selective on the info, you’ll see that guy is not good 😢. Justin is not perfect. Maybe it’s time to have a WOMAN PM in Canada?
@lah_bang2179 I love trump he's the shit
To all those saying that "Canada is great" and you see Trudeau representing Canada. Please know that the majority of Canadians hate this guy and want him out. He does NOT represent Canada and he's on this show to enjoy his last moments of fame before he is unemployed.
Yeahh, Trudeau is about cooked at this point. I see more and more "Fuck Trudeau" stickers and flags in the GTA every day
Thank you, the more people that know about him and his corrupt government, the better. He cares nothing for the immigrants coming here either, he's just using them for cheap labor and now they can't even afford to live here. Some are even committing suicide or trying to go back to their own countries. They are seeing the truth now.
Yup, he's definitely circling the drain
@@JoshParmesanSo by the language used in this post you can tell the lack of quality on the haters side.
@@NormTessTearoe naughty language hurt your feelings bud? Why beat around the bush when we can say what most of us are thinking
I live in canada and i can tell ya, this guy needs to step down. He is not wanted as our leader in any sense. We want change.
So, you speak for all Canadians or is that something you and your friends agree on, and you figured the entire nation thinks like you.
@@thelight5384 AGAIN...................................... HAVE YOU SEEN THE POLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS?
@@thelight5384 he is booed everywhere in canada, he travels with a horde of police and military because he is so afraid of canadians.
@@thelight5384 Over 70%. I have been here for many years and have never heard of a more hated man in the nation. People hate him a lot more than they did 4 years ago, and even then if he went to some native tribe of 70 people in the far far north he would still get heckled and shouted at to leave.
@thelight5384 I've always been liberal but will absolutely not be voting for Trudeau. It's unfortunate more Canadians don't pay more attention to their own politics... if you were a little more informed you'd likely think the same
Best nation in the world, Canada , of course others such as USA,UK< NZ, Australia all are good nations. Freedom respect and be kind to all.
Hello Stephen ... You forgot to ask PM Trudeau why he LECTURED to the EMPTY hall today ? HA,ha,ha...
I'm from Canada and all I see is drug addicts and homeless people. Thanks to this Prime Minister.😂
Trudeau is not a prime minister, he's a crook sticking up for his corrupt corporations.
