    American bathrooms have gaps in the stalls. We have gotten used to it, and we just have trained ourselves not to look, but it is still messed up. Every time we go to the bathroom in public, we have to deal with the fact that if someone else wanted to, they could easily look at our privates. Its not the worst problem when all the guys are straight, so they wouldn't have the desire to look. But gay men also use the bathrooms, so you know that people who are attracted to your biology could see you. If that wasn't bad enough, you add in transgenders. I can deal with sharing a bathroom with other men, but the idea that I have practically no privacy from a biological women is disgusting. And I can't even imagine how awful it must be for women, who know that at practically any moment, a man, (because they still are men) could try to look at them and there is nothing they can do about it. Especially for women who had suffered from sexual abuse, can't you imagine how traumatizing that could be? And not only Women, but also children! At any time a man could look at a little girl going to the bathroom and have NO consequences. Having a problem with members of the opposite sex in your bathroom is COMPLETELY LEGITIMATE and shrugging it off as "intolerance" is despicable. Maybe if bathrooms were reworked so that people actually had privacy, then things could change, but until such a time, people will feel unsafe. And the safety of those normal men, women, and children matter more than a tiny minority of trans people getting to feel "validated" by going to the bathroom of their choice.

    This is another example of Cartman's short-sightedness shooting him in the ass because he thought it was a good idea to be manipulative and petty.
    By the very same logic, Wendy/Wendell can do the same thing when it's convenient for her/him. If Cartman is still a dude, then he should have no problem with "Wendell" being in the same restroom as him. After all, they are both guys, right???

      That’s dumb though. A human could never have an internal sense of being a different species or race. When it comes to gender, most hormonal males (androgen in utero) raised as girls because of genital defects just end saying they’re boys when they grow up. We also have 3 decades of research pointing to neurological causes of gender dysphoria/being transgender.
      She also said god created male and female, but intersex exists and some animals can change reproductive organs. A lot of male beavers have uteruses. So why would god create clownfish for example?

      Nope I completely understood the point but like I said the line gets skewed when you tell people they can just be anything they want to be and everyone has to just accept it . @@Itsprincesss I think his comment is because you said "we should hear women that are uncomfortable with transgender women in the bathroom because their feeling are vaild too". I don't know what you think but that a person manifest or think that he or she is uncomfortable with someone because he or she has a different gender and don't want to share the bathroom, is kind of discriminating. Someone feeling uncomfortable just because someone is different and for no other good reason is discriminating. What would happen if a white guy feels uncomfortable because he has to share the bathroom with a black guy? That's not right, you have to respect everyone like they are and feel, meanwhile they don't do anything harmful or bother to anyone on purpose.

    As someone who does struggle with their gender identity and was born a woman I understand where some cis women are coming from with being concerned about trans women in bathrooms. However the reason most people are telling those people to shut up is because they’re painting trans women to be predators when all these people want is to be treated like any other woman. I understand the idea of a man being in the women’s bathroom is strange but trans women are not men and that’s where the confusion in the debate comes in. Most of the time no one would even know a trans woman was trans if she went into the bathroom because she’s just using the bathroom and if anything, it would be even more dangerous for a trans woman to go to the men’s bathroom because they wouldn’t be able to tell either.
    You’re allowed to have your beliefs and thank you for not being too aggressive with your beliefs, but I do disagree with some of the things you said and I don’t think either party should be silenced.
    Hope this wasn’t rude or anything and I hope I got my opinions across in a comprehensible way

    3:30 No trans person is saying that they'll have a cis person's experiences. Even if one day bottom surgery winds up being fully functional and not just cosmetic, they still wouldn't have the exact same experiences. And that's fine. Heck, even in your precious "good book", it just says that there are these two genders*, and here are their roles. Not so clear on whether or not changing that around ain't okay, and frankly a literalist interpretation would be just as likely to argue that it IS fine, so long as women are still submitting to men. Which...still ain't ideal, let's be real.

    I think stalls just need to have more privacy then we'd all be safe you know. Also even though you will never be a man when you are trans man at least you'll be treated and seen as a man which can give you euphoria. It's also the feeling that if you want to live as man, look like man, be treated and called a man you should be seen as man rather than a woman who looks like a man. Since some women who look like men don't want to be called a man. Also how you interact with men, trans men, women, trans women and everyone in between is usually different people don't realise that. If a guy punched you in the face you shouldn't hate that person more if a woman punched you in the face based on that one is a woman and one is a man.

    • @UpYourArsenal

      @@UpYourArsenal First off how can you be happy if you are always miserable? Second I don't know what you mean by dopamine it's serotonin that makes you happy. Third being transgender is social transition as well to think it's just physical is dumb. Fourth why does it actually matter how someone identifies not like it's going to affect you. Fifth you do know that because of gender roles we treat "female" athletes and "male" athletes differently during training and being physically active during youth. Sixth my point was just to say that someone born as a biological sex shouldn't affect their access and how they are treated because I'm sure everyone they interact with isn't a doctor or wants to see their privates (because that's super sexual and creepy if the only reason you talk and engage with someone differently is because of their genitalia) CASE CLOSED

      @UpYourArsenal Рік тому

      Trannies have the highest rate of self deletion of every group in the world - that's why it matters what they "identify" as. They're identifying as something impossible, and as a lie - you encouraging that means you're encouraging their end.
      Of course we treat males and females differently -- THEY ARE DIFFERENT. Our brains are hardwired from thousands of years of evolution to pursue certain things.
      Yes, how you are born should affect how you're treated.

  • @KdinIsHere
    @KdinIsHere Рік тому +2

    I mean at the dawn of humanity gender and sex meant what privates you had but as we moved forward with culture, interests and hobbies. Society started connecting things that had nothing to do with what privates you had. Your privates should only connect with health and breeding as well as more physical intimate relationships. Anyway now gender and sex are seen as different even though it wast connected in the past the reason is because we treat people differently based on how they look and other identities and labels. Isn't it weird that whenever we try to think what a woman is and a man is or can be it's all based on privates even though there's a clear difference of they are treated in social settings. Humans can adapt mentally just as our bodies adapt based on environment and what we've been through doesn't always mean they'll adapt in a positive or negative direction but humans still adapt. Of all the stuff happening in the US against trans affirming healthcare and banning it is bad instead he should find new ways on how people can transition if they want to that's more healthy and that has better affects which can be reversed. I think we could create new types of hormones for people who was to transition that don't affect the current hormones we have. Since thinking that testosterone currently never can make a female a male since that testosterone only connects to a male who born male and not a male who was born female. I mean to ban everything instead of finding solutions of how to deal with this problem is hard. It's like you are erasing an issue that's still an issue and thinking it's over. I wonder what's after the queer and trans community. Would it then be race, income, political views, religion and even more smaller things like what diet you have, what your favourite color is, and if you can drive a car or not. Somethings seem so far fetched and random but if you have a current mindset where you show no empathy you are going to hate people in general who are different now it's just major things and new wording of things. Banning access isn't the way to go.

    I like your content and don't think your bigoted. That said, I definitely think we should accept trans folks as a society. Gender dysphoria is a recognized physical/psychological condition so it's inevitable we will encounter them in life as we would encounter gay/non binary people as well. We should think of this in a public policy way, for example, why are women uncomfortable with biological males in a bathroom? Because of the possibility of sexual assault or harassment. However, those things are already against the law, and perverts/sex criminals don't care what the sign on the door says. So having gender neutral bathrooms shouldn't be an issue, it's a lot more cultural and that changes over time. You definitely have a right to your opinion obviously, but, when a lot of people don't want to accept a certain group of people en mass, it always ends badly i.e. legal discrimination/violence. There was just a trans girl who was stabbed to death in a public park in the U.K. so that's why we all need to watch what we say in public about not accepting a specific group. Just some thoughts, I like having non-aggressive conversations about these issues with good faith people. Keep up the south park reactions!!! :)

I get where you're coming from, but I think you could maybe compare it more with say national identity rather than something as invariable as race. How would you feel if someone were to say that you're not really British because you're not white? Whatever your response would be to that, I'm sure you'd agree it would be inappropriate for anyone other than you to question how you perceive yourself and make it any of their business. I'm sure you'd also agree that 1st, 2nd, 3rd gen immigrants and so on have varying degrees on how they identify themselves and that would be completely up to the individual. The same goes for gender identity and perception imo.
    Great reactions btw keep them up!

      I do get what you’re trying to say , however the reason I don’t think it’s inappropriate people's perceptions of themselves because self-perception can often be distorted or
      even not based in reality and if that’s the case then I think it is appropriate.
      Also questioning people's perceptions of themselves can help them gain a more objective and realistic view especially if you’re empathetic .
      Also if someone said I wasn’t really British I wouldn’t say that them asking that question is inappropriate at all cus they may not be aware that that being British is a matter of nationality or citizenship .
