Do never buy their course. It's ~$1800 worth nothing, and their customer support system is broken. They claimed to file a debt collection to ruin your credit score... if you want to terminate their service. It's almost like a scam.
I know im randomly asking but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my password. I would love any help you can give me.
@Maverick Elias I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
@ Kenneth Cowtowne You are so right. It is impossible to have just one item. I will be interviewed by 3 HR people and so I have to take along 4 copies of my interview material, a pencil, a pen and a notebook for notes. All of this is in a very professional looking small case. And then I have my purse in which I have a small bottle to water, an umbrella (because even on a sunny day, it can start pouring down rain!) change purse etc. Since it is summer and my interview is in the afternoon, I don’t need a coat. But I definitely need to drink something to keep my mouth moist before the interview. If I only took one item to the interview including all of the items which I need, then I would have to take a small (carry-on) and that would not look very professional at all. I have always interviewed with two items (always looking professional) and have never had any problems whatsoever. It would have been nice if the gentleman in this video had articulated better and not spoken so fast. I loved the speech pattern of the woman in the “bright pink”. I do however find some of Ms.van Edwards other videos quite helpful. I even ran into the other room and made sure that my shoes were not scuffed or anything. J
videos are always fun to watch. Especially when you give tips on body language, love them. And plus isn't she so damn beautiful? keep up the great videos Vanessa.
Love from India 💐 that's so amazing even after A decade things never change. That's the best part i love about science of people🎉 Thank you so much Vanessa.
On the real-- F!!CK that about not smiling! Smiling is nice, smiling is a favor to the people looking at you, it is positive, it is inspiring, uplifting, and contagious! Who are these messed up people designing the corporate world as a place people don’t smile!? Wtf!
+Specter Makoto Right?? It's an outrage! It is sad that people judge the worth, positivity and confidence of each other on such nuanced, superficial things like a coat, bag or the back of the shoes. If you're someone who doesn't give a damn about that sort of thing, you may as well wave to the job, because its gonna fly right out the window.
Specter Makoto dont be drammatic... She specified.. Just make sure they are clean.... Dont put wrong words in her mouth.... All these tips are really great... Blessings.
In this video and the video about body language of leaders, she says that smiling makes you seem submissive and not as intelligent, but in her 5 secrets to a successful ted talk, she said that the people who smiled were seen as more intelligent and credible. What is the difference in these situations?
I would love to hear your comments on this, Vanessa. I am a PHD, who has been out of the workforce for 15 years raising a kid with autism. I was a prof of psychology, working in a research center for disability studies many years ago. I am now re-entering the workforce as a Special Educator and have found the culture to be very different, but I am adapting well and really love the people and the work itself. What I find however, is that I am having to really amp my 'I'm a nice lady and a regular person who wants to learn from you' attitude with the folks who interview me and work with me. If I was interviewing in academia, my nonverbals would be more serious, reflecting confidence and competence, but in education, it seems that is intimidating to teachers and administrators. So, I believe the rules could be a little different for someone in my position. I seem to do better when I play down my intellect and play up my 'I'm a humble older Mommy' attitude. What is you take on this, please. P.S. I love your vids and play them to the Psych classes that I teach at the local community college :)
Okay, is she a psychic, or does Vanessa have some credentials? Perhaps she is 100% accurate, but did Vanessa just start with promoting her opinions, or maybe she has divine knowledge? This video offers nothing at all new, aside from the 'research' that indicated "only bring in one item; Not a coat plus a briefcase" (what?) So its Winter and I'm automatically "disorganized" because I have two items (a coat and a briefcase) with me?
Yeah, that one struck me as odd also. The thing I find on some of these are they are best on each persons own perception of what they think is a positive or negative trait. She has some interesting points, but I agree - opinions, perceptions or fact? Fact I think not.

Thanks so much, you really help me out !
I think one thing forgotten is mirroring your interviewer in subtle ways because people subconsciously like people like themselves. ;)
+owlie girl We like those that are like us. Have you ever read "Influence" by Robert Cialdini
owlie girl dont be like Howard from Big Bang Theory though
I do know this from UA-cam and other UA-cam videos but Narcissists both know and do this too!!
My friend smiles to keep his mood up. He smiles for himself.

Treasure Forever not in a competitive surounding
Yet you have no smile
I wouldn't hire you with this response lol. Diplomacy - argue your point diplomatically
How the FUCK are they going to get new shoes if they don't have a job

+ReadyRed15 Motivation behind the smile? Are you doing it from a congruent place (where you feel good) vs. doing it to pretend you feel happy.
Nice to see that someone is really watching and listening and making distinctions. Great question!

Love your insight.
In another video you stated body language is 60% not 93%-competition is stiff but 7% is a pretty small margin
great tips
Thank you
superb
People are way too judgemental.
PelegoRecords people don’t judge enough
You're amaazing :)
Is it worth it to delay an interview due to a mouth sore?
Here in Somali our boses don't care about body language. They care about the one who is responsible for us.
I just don't buy this the more successful you are you smile less !
Yeah, Man
