I love Dead Rising 2 and OTR however those games do not have that eerie feeling like the first. Always feel like someone is watching you and it was much darker overall.
Just re-played it for first time since the ps3 era. Still great game but I totally forgot just how irritating these survivors could be, I actually screamed at TV, and I hadn't even done it many times during the Call Of Duty Warzone and Overwatch!
I always assumed it was his other camera equipment. Since we have to get batteries from the photo store instead of frank being prepped and carrying spares
I really don't get it. What's next, Pac Man remastered? Games today rely on AMAZING GRAPHICS, big budget cut scenes, but these things don't make good games. Dead Rising was fine the way it was. A classic.
Maybe for Dead Rising 2 and Off The Record, but unless you got an Xbox 360 at the time, you were screwed over for the original Dead Rising. Hell, I bought a PS3 because I liked the types of games that they had that the 360 didn't have. Dead Rising was one of the few games on the 360 that I had interest in, but I had already bought a PS3 by that point. Especially since the Dead Rising series has a very bipolar like behavior when it comes to exclusivity on consoles, I'm at happy that at least the original Dead Rising is on PS4. I do agree that remasters need to calm down for a bit, but at least make an exception for former exclusives on the opposite platform. (obviously not flagship exclusives)
Started playing this again for old time’s sake and I never realised how annoying the special forces are in this along with the cultists. The cultists kamikaze you and can literally take all your shit by knocking you out with that spray and the special forces follow you endlessly in the area and do a shit ton of damage if they get too close. Overall though, I’ll always adore this game for the memories that it gave me.
In my eyes the best zombie game with a good story. It's great from beginning to the end with multiple endings, different paths of the story, good writen charakters, all packed in a good game together, witch can easy catch up with all other games from today. Even dying light did not brought up a story nearly as interesting as the one told in dead rising 1. I mean what do you pick up when you re in the mud for a good zombie game? Stupid shootouts like in back4blood, good base building in state of decay 2 with no story at all? If you want a interesting story and you don't know Dead Rising 1 yet, but all of the resident evil games, go for it.

The world needs Frank West
Just imagine Ruben fleischer directing an actual Dead Rising 1 film based on the game that would be amazing
@bigdaddy9489exactly
The sniper family I wish they let Thomas live he didn't want to kill anybody
I wish they would have updated the graphics
it's called remastered but it looks like they didn't do crap to the game
eh,still fun game either way.
Yeah definitely I'm glad I can own it again but for pc haven't played it since 07
They uprezzed the textures and bumped up the frame-rate.
They actually really didn't upres anything.
I love how he slices those psycho people with a chain saw and they have no missing limbs. Not even a scratch
And what happened to the guy who welded the door shut he just disappeared
7 years later. And here we are with a remake. What a time to be alive!
I love Dead Rising 2 and OTR however those games do not have that eerie feeling like the first. Always feel like someone is watching you and it was much darker overall.
If this was given a remake, Brad should be voiced by Keith David. =P
This game needs a remake like Resident Evil.
The voice acting is still more believable than the so called “remaster”
Isabella invented zombrex for Frank after he got infected
One of my favorite games of all time. Very good writing and unique storyline. I miss Frank's old voice 🥲
Wait for the next 3 months and a mod with the OG voice will arrive for PC
Just re-played it for first time since the ps3 era. Still great game but I totally forgot just how irritating these survivors could be, I actually screamed at TV, and I hadn't even done it many times during the Call Of Duty Warzone and Overwatch!
The biggest plot hole is how a a frail old lady many to throw 2 grown men down so she could open the door for the zombies
my favorite zombie game of all time. too bad how the series has turned out now..
This game was way ahead of its time best game of the year i remember my brother buying it and just grinding all day playing this
To this day, I still question what was in Frank's halliburton case.
I always assumed it was his other camera equipment. Since we have to get batteries from the photo store instead of frank being prepped and carrying spares
God I love this game
This is 10 years old mate
It always gets started with someone trying to help a dog
Remastered my ass. But i'll still buy it at 90% off
dude. i cant get over the intro cutscenes. i feel so bad and sad for the girl and her mom, getting eaten
I like how it looks like he was improving at the game as he got more cutscenes
He keeps running at them to kill them.

This takes "Fire-crotch" to a whole new meaning x3
Huehue~
In my eyes the best zombie game with a good story. It's great from beginning to the end with multiple endings, different paths of the story, good writen charakters, all packed in a good game together, witch can easy catch up with all other games from today. Even dying light did not brought up a story nearly as interesting as the one told in dead rising 1. I mean what do you pick up when you re in the mud for a good zombie game? Stupid shootouts like in back4blood, good base building in state of decay 2 with no story at all? If you want a interesting story and you don't know Dead Rising 1 yet, but all of the resident evil games, go for it.
They never really explained how did Frank and Isabella got out at the end
Michael Tomley, I knew you hiding out after you and Franklin ran off with that final score
