I hate investment linked products coz I think the fees are too high and the commissions just eat up my gains. So I prefer to do my own investments. But thinking of the COL in Singapore, guess it’s inevitable. FA still need to earn a decent wage. I think Financial Planning is just like assembling IKEA furniture. You are supposed to DIY coz it’s the most economical, but if u require help, there are experts to do it for u, so no hassle for u, but u have to pay for it! Fair?

Very good explanation. I am a CFP but stays in India. But I have 15 years plus experience in insurance field. How good shall be my job prospects in Singapore. Will any company hire me? If yes, how can I apply for a job in Singapore?
