It is interesting that the update to ARR's finale kinda shows Hydaelyn hard-carrying you through everything past the fight with Gaius in the Praetorium. It definitely makes sense, given this went from being the end of the game to really where your adventure STARTS in many respects, and the ancient Allagan superweapon and Ascian Overlord are actually threats you aren't yet strong enough to vanquish without the Blessing being amped into super-mode. It adds a bit to Midgardsomr wanting to see what you're capable of without it going into Heavensward, and the player gets more of a sense that Hydaelyn DID expend a ton of energy on you early on which explains why it's hard to reach her again later. Also I imagine it adds a bit to the tension in Heavensward; previously Lahabrea was a super-easy boss fight but if people going forward remember him as someone who wiped the floor with them before plot power turned the tables, Heavensward's point that you don't HAVE that power anymore might add a bit to the impending rematch.
It also adds to Midgardsormr taking away your blessing. Before 6.1, you could tell him "Bruh, i curbstomped an Ascian Leader, what difference is a blessing going to make?". Now? You know that difference.
Big DBZ energy in this fight. Has a big death ball attack, a transformation from near death experience with accompanying ssj2 blue power aura, a finishing move calling upon the energy of allies to dragon punch through the big bad...
