- Another first video in our road to master series, we have the world warrior Dhalsim! He's got his coolest moves from Street fighter 4 and SFV, and they pair great with the drive system.
The first video of each series will include a short guide/tutorial at the beginning. It won't be complete with optimal combos, but should be enough to get you and me started in ranked matches. Then, we'll see how we do in our placement matches and try to place as high as we can in ranked!
Street Fighter 6, the next game in the iconic series, will release in 2023! Take part in the Fighting Ground, which focuses on the classic fighting game experience with modes from previous games in the series. Two new modes will be available alongside: World Tour, an immersive single-player story experience, and Battle Hub, which will further expand the scope of player communication and engagement. This series has been a life saver. Started in Bronze and about to hit gold with Dee Jay. Cant wait to try more characters.

Bronze to Gold with Deejay is probably as easy as wiping your ass with tissue paper. De jay is the best character in SF
@@eatdahl Is it so difficult to be happy for someone else´s achievements? Going from bronze to gold is a big improvement in game knowledge, the character you play doesnt matter at all at that rank. I would say marisa, guile and honda are much better known for being noobstompers than DJ.

On Dhalsim DI punish counter I like to do back HP into EX flame into level 1 super with HP. Does really nice dmg. If you don't want to use super meter afterwards just heavy slide after EX flame.

As a longtime Sim main, imo one of the best defenses for dealing with people up close (though you have to be more careful in 6 due to parries and drive impacts) is light slide into back+mk/throw mixups. Then you back out as soon as possible.
Also, something you forgot to mention, Dhalsim is the only character with a low grab. (I think) he grabs their ankles and throws them across the screen. A great move if someone gets too close and you want to reset that distance.
Also gives a bit more frame advantage for okizeme in the corner

Loving this series, learning the game aside it’s just fun to watch👌, my challenge right now is just completing all the combo trials and I’ve only got Kimberley left, then for someone of my skill getting all characters to platinum would be sick as I’ve never learnt fighting games properly, so far I’ve only managed Ken at plat 2, with the rest mostly gold😂
Bronze Dhalsim who got to Gold. I am seriously debating playing the Yoga long term. Shits so hard.

The thing that I noticed that probably would have helped Nephew a but in some of these matches is utilizing the up fireball. Either to set-up for offence, and mix up your defense.

Dhalsim is the only character I actively choose to one and done. I don't intend to compete so I couldn't care to learn the match up and he's just the dryest character in FG history.
