Do you think if you tried a plastic syringe to "pour" the white or black, it would make it easier? Just thinking of ideas to help make it a bit easier for you
wonder if you could use a metal syringe to do pours like the white, so yu can control the pour, say metal basting syringe for example? i use small one for eyes and that
Might try pouring the black first then trim out the center to the shape you want the white. Then you can pour the white and the black would serve somewhat as a dam to hold the white in place. Great job really enjoy watching and learning, Thanks for what you do.
Have you thought of using shot needles too do the black outlines on Nemo, should be easier to control the black if the shot needle would work with the plastic .nice job !!! Thanks GeneP
The good ole' dip and dab!! Love it!! Being here in TN, I'd love to see a few different camo type baits. Real camo not what Zoom and Yum pass off as camo. Looking forward to all the new things coming in 2020!!
Have you ever tried using disposable plastic pipettes? They may work well for fine details, I would suspect that you wouldn't have too many issues with the plastic cooling too fast. Side through, in person the white stripes are slightly iridescent, a touch of white pearl may have an interesting effect to them.
Fun video Chris, love to see your techniques. I actually started stirring my plastic with 8mm glass rods...works great and it would work to drizzle and dab the skins too. Merry Christmas
Ever thought of setting up an aquarium and putting your baits in it? Minimal filtration just to keep the water from stagnating, but it would look cool. I agree, the paint brush dab was the ticket. Maybe even your stirring knife. 👍🍺🎣
What if you use that same technique with white that you used with black. With those molds you have access to limitless patterns🤘😎 really cool!!! Merry X-mas.
Wow!! great work!! where can I get my hands on some of these 2 piece aluminum swim bait molds? they are awesome!! lots of possibilities ? do you have a link for them?
DoooooooD that is so sweet looking. Go fish with it and let us see the results. Also for clarification when you say thick, for the color, you are referring to how opaque the color is correct?
i think it would have been alot easier if you poured the black first the cut it out of the moulde too the shape you wanted and have walls which would holde the white inside. might not have looked very natural but i think it would be alot easier to do it like that :)
Why don't you try using a syringe to put the black and white colors down. I believe it might help you with being able to control the flow and patterns better just trying to give you an idea to help with future baits you make
I think you are getting to critical of your clown colors LOL. I have had years in the saltwater tank hobby and I would suggest you google up clownfish color variations.... and keep in mind there are 100ish natural variations and three times that in the home hobby because of having them housed in a non area specific tank and designer types as well. You did an AMAZING job and these will work in the keys for lion fish 10/10.
would it be worth getting a little oven to put them in? knock the rubber off the clamps, throw 'em in a warm oven, let 'em go for a while while you do something else. but, i've never poured plastic so i could be ignorant
Why don’t you use a syringe with a big needle like injecting needle squirt out very small amounts at a time building it up as well smearing it as you go. Would be a more controlled & defined line you hv control of
I'm not digging the clear dip on that mold - ruins the texture. Is there a way you can mold the eye in during the pour so you don't have to do that step? Watching you struggle skin pouring details has had me yelling at the screen for the last 2 videos to use a brush! lol
Peacock Bass will tear that Sh!+ up! Is this legal where you can't use "Goldfish" for bait?! :P :D How do I buy some for my Grandson?! He may not want it to get eaten... :(
u shoudl think about making ur thumbnail pictures a bit diffrent.. like why should i watch a video when all ur doing is making a bait and ive already seen the result in the picture.. and seen u making baits in other colors.. so im not missing anything by not watching.. perhaps maybe a joke or 2.. good on ya for making a neemo bait (havent watched the video though).. If u want to have more vieuws make ur video's more of a story.. beginning main end.. and have something more to it then just shooting a coreshot in christmas colors.. I mean coreshot is a cool word for anyone that doesnt know.. but it wears of quick once u realise what it means..
Should we look for Dori next??? lol
Or maybe Bruce (the shark)?
@@ndistefano5 haha
If you want to try something hard, try to do a mandarin dragonet.

Baby Peacock Bass.

I love watching your techniques evolve and watching the different molds you are acquiring. Keep up the great videos.
thanks mary
Top, top job. They would smash the spring Pike fishing season this side of the pond! Thanks for sharing. Happy holidays to you too.
yeah ppl are saying pike would eat them..haha eating nemo
Great first try! You were right painting the black outline. It looks awesome!
thank you
You definitely elevated your work with these new molds!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Wohoo! Loved the crazy colors. That would be a great Muskie bait.
Thanks man
Hey not related to this video, But i was wondering where you get your silicone for making your own open pour molds?
Thanks

NICE !!! Thanks for sharing your creative ideas and talents. Merry Christmas from Hawaii
Quick question I'm new to pouring why do you put them in water after the pour is it to firm them up?
Hey, first I love your channel, I was wondering where I could buy the baits, I cant find any website either, thanks!
Have you thought of using shot needles too do the black outlines on Nemo, should be easier to control the black if the shot needle would work with the plastic .nice job !!! Thanks GeneP
Man I need a pack of those for my daughter she loves Nemo;
Love to see you do a crappie looking swimbait
Yeah I've been thinking about some ideas for that

Great looking baits. Thanks for posting the video
thanks for watching
Fun video Chris, love to see your techniques. I actually started stirring my plastic with 8mm glass rods...works great and it would work to drizzle and dab the skins too.

Yeah actual stirring rods are probably better than what I use
@@WorldsWorstFishing probably wouldn't have ever thought of it if you didn't use the brush.

I love those rainbow trout baits. They all look good though
Very well done! How about a silver shiner or a golden shiner?
That’s awesome. Would love to see you catch one on these
Not a comment but a question. What do you use as clear dip.
Plastisol without color in it
Thank you
Looks awesome!!!, Next time when mixing a color start with a lighter color and add the darker color, just a tip 🤷♂️
What if you use that same technique with white that you used with black. With those molds you have access to limitless patterns🤘😎 really cool!!! Merry X-mas.
Yeah technically you could do it a few ways but I like the pattern I was able to get pouring the white
@@WorldsWorstFishing it's always fun to watch your crazy ideas 🤘 Dori next?
Please tell me if I can purchase some of these baits...? They are so unique..!
Where did you get those molds?
Chris, Merry Christmas. I would like to see your take on a blue gill using this method
Merry Christmas thank you for sharing your video cheers🍻🍻
thanks for watching on this christmas day!
You should try eye droppers or something for those detail spots or fine lines. Might be hard to clean, dunno.
They turned out pretty good. Could you put them in a toaster oven for a bit to prevent cold cracks?
Not sure that gets hot enough..the torch is the way to go
What senko mold do you have bc I’m looking into getting one?
angling ai core shot
Excellent! It is a masterpiece!!!
this is a artistic work, amazing!!
Wow! Not bad for your 1st attempt.
Ever thought about trying to use a small medicine plunger or dropper for the lil details just a thought
yes, I just havent had much success on it
Wow!! great work!! where can I get my hands on some of these 2 piece aluminum swim bait molds? they are awesome!! lots of possibilities ? do you have a link for them?
They are not made anymore unfortunately..I found these used
Novelty? It is a possible Pike magnet just like the "Strike Pro Buster Jerk C130F Clownfish" that we use over here.
That's funny I didn't know anyone through anything in a clown fish pattern
Merry Christmas your baits are amazing
thank you
Chris, I want to see you catch a fish on that mold!
me too...i just need more fishing time
DoooooooD that is so sweet looking. Go fish with it and let us see the results. Also for clarification when you say thick, for the color, you are referring to how opaque the color is correct?
yes...thats correct
Love your channel I think this would work great for Pike
What about making core shots and laying pieces of them next to the white, then heating the mold to melt it.
I wonder if you still sell soft lures on your website
i think it would have been alot easier if you poured the black first the cut it out of the moulde too the shape you wanted and have walls which would holde the white inside. might not have looked very natural but i think it would be alot easier to do it like that :)
Super informative!
Tha k you
Metal turkey baster would maybe work for the skin pour teqnique?
Hello. Do you send these forms of bait to Brazil?
You should’ve tried that with an eyedropper for the black
Do you have a 5" hand pour swimbaits
I found that when open poring not to have the fan on because it blows the plastic every where
yeah I have that problem too haah
So cool, Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas
Cool coral snake pattern
where I can buy this molds 😍
What if you used a hot plate type of thing instead of the torch to heat the molds or keep them warm
Hot plates don't get near as hot as propane, the torch is the quickest way to get the layers to melt
Try getting some of the plastic into a spoon and pour it out of the spoon so it will be more exact?
Drizzle it from the mixing knife ???
The Nemo turned out pretty good !!
Merry Xmas
thanks man
You being in Florida if you did a golden shiner it would be sick.
Why don't you try using a syringe to put the black and white colors down. I believe it might help you with being able to control the flow and patterns better just trying to give you an idea to help with future baits you make
That was cool, did u use them and catch fish with them
no I dont get much time to fish
@@WorldsWorstFishing oh ok, when u do , let me know if u catch fish with the soft bait u made
Super pour. By the way, what is the mold?
its an old BTS mold
NICE, Merry Christmas
What about using a old large glass seringe
never had much luck with those..ive tried
what about using a syringe for the black outlines?
never worked well for me..ive tried them
I keep thinking you could use a toothpick to drag the hot plastisol into the shapes you need...???
Would you sell the hitch pattern at 2:14
How can I order baits from you
Maybe try using the tip of your stirring knife to dab in the color
I've tried it but it's not quite as easy for me
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas
Love that technique! To much for me 😂
naww it aint too bad
Those molds would be cool to have. I could waste some plastic on those 😂
My daughter wants those for her pet!!!
Haha nice

Dude, if you could make those in some kind of blue gill color, I'd buy several packs from you.
yeah I can do plenty of bluegill patterns

How much for how many

you coukd but the torch is quick
@@WorldsWorstFishing fair enough. my next question, why not just pull the rubber tips off the clamps? i mean, burning rubber cant be pleasant.
Why don’t you use a syringe with a big needle like injecting needle squirt out very small amounts at a time building it up as well smearing it as you go. Would be a more controlled & defined line you hv control of
plastic sets up..it doesnt stay workable..in a syringe it clogs up immediately
Found it mate 😅👍🏻
Haha

Like scoop it out of the cup
it will start to cool down quickly that way..it doesnt work for me all that well until the spoon gets super hot..
