Playing games with subtle hints or indirect hints, most people are not going to have that kind of luxury beating around bushes and trying to figure out whether you're interested or not. Instead of dropping hints or all these other indirect way of "hoping" the other person will pick up your clues, just be yourself and spend more time understanding them and just be genuine with your intention. If you run into a matured relationship, they'll know whether your intention is genuine or not. Then you can just be polite and direct about it and ask, "Hey, I find you really attractive and I would to like to know more about you if that's okay with you. Would you be interested in going out for a coffee sometime?" I feel like that's a very appropriate way of just being direct with your intention and also politely asking the other person for a bit of their time. Then when you're talking to them, this is when you'll know if you guys can get along or don't feel the vibe or whatever. If they're not interested, then just respect their boundary and thank them for their time. And trust me, a lot of guys are not used to direct approach of a girl just asking them straight-up if they would like to have a coffee or grab of bite or somewhere along that line. So the fact that you can even do that and ask them directly, the chances are higher than guys asking a girl. That would also save you a lot of time along the way, so you're not wasting weeks and months trying to figure out if the person even like you or not.

Omg the hobby thing is literally me. I started watching kdramas, crochet, photography and drawing because of the girls I was interested in. Yeah girls, all these signs will go right over my head. I'm dense AF. I confessed to my crush after hanging with her for 3 years before I finally confessed.
