    I had never heard of her before. What a kind, strong, and beautiful person. “Talk about drawing a line in the sand.” …..Remarkable. Simply remarkable. Love these videos brother.

      We need to be fair to Obama. He put a lot of time and planning into those drone strikes to make sure those children were blown to smithereens. And yes this woman did extraordinary things but divorce and remarriage is a dime a dozen. Compare her to another pole, fr Maximilian kolbe, who took the place of a condemned Jew in a starvation bunker. That is true supernatural charity.

      Should've made a movie?... But with all the Anti-Jew BS right now, it simply won't happen.

    Stories such as this are truly amazing. I love history and have always been amazed by people performing such heroic deeds during a war seemingly with no regards to their own personal safety. Cudos Mike and Colin. 👍👍

    I was among the crowd outside Grand Hotel in Oslo when Obama was receiving the NPP and there were a lot of disgruntled spectators saying the same thing. It’s a deeper regret now that nothing was said voicing your same comments after watching the video.

    What a wonderful, courageous woman, putting her life on the line, repeatedly, to help save Jewish people caught up in the Nazi terror. People like her are an inspiration to all generations, showing the best qualities of human nature in times of trial and great suffering.

      Nazis were Germans, not aliens from outer space. The german people chose Hitler and NSDAP and gave them power, so resposible for holocaust and genocide of Poles, Gypsys and other nations is solemnly in their hands. So please use the right terminology. I respect people.

    Great video and excellent production but what I don't understand is why separate the children from their parents, save their lives, okay but if their parents didn't survive they became orpheans, and their lives might even be worse than death, a strange idea it would seem.

    • @FORGOTTENHISTORYCHANNEL
      @FORGOTTENHISTORYCHANNEL  Рік тому +8

      Children were easier to hide even in plain sight than adults.

    • @rosesprog1722
      @rosesprog1722 Рік тому +2

      @@FORGOTTENHISTORYCHANNEL Thanks, I can understand that but honestly, if I had been one of those children I think I would have prefered to remain with my parents and live or die with them. Same thing with the parents, what a difficult situation... Well, I wasn't there and I have no children so, what am I talking about???

    • @FORGOTTENHISTORYCHANNEL
      @FORGOTTENHISTORYCHANNEL  Рік тому +3

      To me, at least a chance of survival is better than absolute death, but indeed, it was a terrible situation.

    • @aleksanderkochelak3586
      @aleksanderkochelak3586 Рік тому +2

      You can have your opinion on the issue, but you shouldn't values people work on your own experiences you weren't there, when that was heppening. What would you do in this kind of situation. Also the adults were harder to hide, but Irena registered the name of parents on cigarete paper and kept it in the jar, so after the war parents could find their children.

    • @rosesprog1722
      @rosesprog1722 Рік тому +1

      @@aleksanderkochelak3586 I don't know what I would do and wondering about the choices that were made in the past is not evaluating right or wrong what those people did, it is only wondering what I would have done and guess what, I know perfectly well I wasn't there, I said so myself didn't I? And by the way, I just read about the German Wolf children living by themselves in the woods at the end of the war and they all start by the same story, how they were separated from their parents.
