- A historical video describing the life and work of Righteous Among the Nations Irena Sendler. Sendler acted as part of "Żegota" in the operation of saving Jewish children in Warsaw, Poland during the Holocaust and World War II, and saved hundreds of children. The video is accompanied by narration and archival images.
My grandfather was one of the children she saved. So inspiring to see this!
Bless Thumbs up to you! G d bless u
Courageous woman was nominated for Nobel but leftist elites gave it to demon Al Gore instead.
Bless them
Lol
Irena was a very kind person for risking her own life to save people who she didn’t know. She didn’t do it because she saw herself as a hero but because she knew that helping them was the right thing to do.
Irena Sendler..Earth Angel sent by God to rescue the children..she saved over 2500 babies and toddlers !!! RIP Irena
I noticed that many of the people who saved lives during the Holocaust had lived 90 years or more. Good people deserve living a long life.❤
I agree with you but there are many bad people which also live long unfortunatley.
My heart skipped a beat when the video mentioned she was sentenced to death, but then it came to a good end.
Sir Winton lived to 106 years old!
I read a book about this woman and her heroism. She was truly God sent for these children. She was a wonderful woman.
Ich besitze das Buch auch
Alle Hochachtung für diese Frau und alle Helfer gegen den Hass
נתנה אור ליהודים בתקופה חשוכה כל כך! צדיקה!!!!❤
Such a brave and beautiful person this woman was
A blessed Christian woman living the principles of our faith
She is now with our heavenly father reaping her reward
What made her special is she was not very observant of her faith in her youth and did her actions simply because she felt for other human beings regardless of faith. She volunteered and she came so close to dying she had a hood over her head and was led to be hanged. Unfortunately most of the 2500 children she saved were not reunited with their faith or people as she intended because the buried records were stolen. But in contrast to many other righteous people who acted for their faith, because she was not so religious she felt that she could respect the wishes of the families and mothers to promise to return the children at he end of the war to their people which she did for several hundred. She became very religious later in life. Gd blessed her with recognition and a very long life and may she be blessed in Heaven. No greater individual rescuer exists, and she is a role model to all of humanity. Thank you Irena for removing some stain off humanity.
The comment about religious status was direct quote from Irena.
What a wonderful document about a courageous young woman, who endangered her own life to help people in most dire circumstances during the persecution of Jewish people in WW2.
Some people know right from wrong and act on it. God bless Irena Sendler.
Irena was such a brave amazing person. Incredible story ❤️
What a brave and caring young woman Irena Sendler was to rescue as many Jews and other people as she possibly could during the war, all at great risk to her life. May God bless her.
Incredible human being. Bless you!!
There is a statue of irene sandler in my home town in Newark-on-Trent in England in dedication to her. ❤
Really ? How wonderful
"Activist" She was an amazing woman 👩 ❤️ I always liked that name, Irena.
My Polish friend n coworker Irena T., was named after her n she informed us of Irena's sacrifice n courage during WW2. She save many lives and survived the War. "Incredibly Amazing!"
This is true heroism.
True. She did not sit back and cry; There are children dying in Ukeaine right now, What is being done?? Russia should be kicked out of the UN.
The worst part is that she never considered herself a hero because she thought she did so little.
She should have received a Nobel
She did
@@Amarachi58 She didn't. She was nominated. Al Gore got the Nobel for his power point presentation instead.
She was runner up to Al Gore. Heinous. The Nobel institute is nothing but a joke.
@@jarosawdylewski9507 and the importance of Al Gore's "PowerPoint" presentation are shown every day, now.
@@williestyle35Al Gore actually got multiple things wrong in his power point
I am so very thankful for you, your hard work and your diligence in making sure HISTORY is preserved! Thank you 🙏💕
This is a wonderful lady! So glad that one person can make a difference and save lives. How courageous she was!
There is a great movie made about her called “the courageous heart of Irena Sendler” great movie and really shows the great lengths she took to save Jews
The book life in a jar is fascinating. Definitely one of the best books I ever read.
Such a beautiful and brave woman. Always remember!
Great lady. Cheers to Irena!
She is a shining example for all Humanity to follow. God Bless you Irena!
What an amazing woman. We need more people like her.
Let us all be like Irena today..Now is is our time.
We know nobody was safe and it's a blessing to have all this evidence preserved
Actually, I believe during her arrest she was tortured and her arms broken, etc. She was an amazing woman among many unknowns that sacrificed to the uttermost during a very scary, horrible time.
Her legs and feet were fractured causing her to limp for the rest of her life. Her arms were not broken.
There are superheroes in films, these people are beyond that, they are hyperheroes, they are gods
Irena Sendler was a good brave woman who accomplished amazing things during WW II in saving children from the Polish ghetto and death by the Nazis ‼️ May she rest in peace 🙏🌟❤️
I recommend reading Irena's children for a far more detailed description of Irena's actions and life.
Beautiful.
God Bless her 🙏🙏🙏
I believe she was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize
And they gave it to Al Gore instead and the idiot accepted it over Irena Sandler, Gore is nothing but a selfish Jerk who hasn’t saved anyone.
Irena war eine wundervolle Frau und Heldin. 🙏❤ Shalom und Amen. ❤🙏
It bears mentioning that Poland has the most people recognized as "Righteous Among the Nations", because the biggest ghettos were there and all the vernichtungslager were in Poland. In Western Europe it was the French that ended up being the largest group of rescuers - which I always thought was interesting, given history.
I call them "Justs among the Justs", and I revere them.
Wow 👏 How courageous Irena was
“Good girl.” - God
So many survived the Treblinka extermination camp; truly righteous among the nations, and everywhere else.
Yad Vashem (Hebrew: יָד וַשֵׁם; literally, "a memorial and a name") is Israel's official memorial to the victims of the Holocaust.
❤
True bravery~True hero.
A wonderful woman may she rest.in peace Amen 🙏

This really makes me think deeply. The mystery of Gods ways can be seen after the fact. How you can be born at a place and time, its not about your race its who you help. Sad that there are ppl who turned on them just to get their goods. Thats vultures!
Wow, what a lady.
Wow

Nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, Irena lost to Barack Obama.
I don't understand why Hollywood hasn't produced a major motion picture about this woman's life yet. If they can make colossal like the Titanic and Jurassic Park, they can certainly make a great movie about her and what she did for Jewish people during WWII.
Righteous Among the Nations" indeed and exhaled in God's Kingdom!
Whilst not a Hollywood film, there was a TV film drama about her exploits in 2009.

There was one film but it was a flop. It is ironic that Oscar Schindler is known all around the world when she isn't while she risked her life every day and he just agreed to fill in some documents.
@@miksinee1987 Excellent remark. I think women especially introvertic ones do not want to be known for their actions. I can quote many examples among the Righteous and others. They stay in the shadow.
@@miksinee1987I agree, her story and many others would make for a far better Hollywood film if done right than Schindlers List.
