I'm watching a movie on BET featuring one of my favorites, Leon. It's 10/11/15 @5:04 PM. Leon has to be one of the most underrated fine actors in the business. I long ago e mailed Leon my appreciation of his work. He thanked me in return. So it's been a long time since I've seen his performance as Motown great, David Ruffin, a leave 'em dead in the aisle in New Haven performance if I've ever seen one. So a salute to Leon and BET, and thank God for both! Good to see ya again, Leon!
Great movie!!!!! Brilliant cast. They all played true to their characters. This a movie can never tired of watching over and over. The Temptations were Mowtown.
I didn't know he could really sing. I love Leon! Five Heartbeats, Cover, Temptations and Little Richard are my favorite movies with him and old movie Band of the Hand.

leons portrayal as david ruffin is one of the best character studies i've ever seen. that was a good movie, but leon made it unforgettable and a "must buy" dvd. i'd give anything to see him play rick james in a biopic!
its funny how when he describes the characters that he's played I can name the movies. Like when he said a troubled basketball player, I thought of Above The Rim, when he said a killer, I thought of Cliffhanger, and when he said a trackstar, I knew was Cool Runnings.
Im do used to seeing him as David Ruffin with the big glasses . He did soooo good as David Ruffin and this boy cld sing ! Cuss he sung his heart out as David Ruffin . And I'm used to him being so cocky and stuff . I see him as david Ruffin cuss when I was younger I thought he was actually David Ruffin !
I love Denzel and Samuel Jackson, But LEON IS SO FUCKING UNDERRATED, MY GOD HE REALLY IS. HE PLAYED THE HELL OUT OF DAVID RUFFIN IN HIS TEMPTATION MOVIE
@HONEYBCRISSY Me too and I'm only 20 but I though he was gorgous playing David Ruffin in the Temptations and then when I watched the HBO series Oz a few years ago I was like wow okay he's fine!!! :) He is still soooo fine!!!
