I had a similar experience in reverse when I first started flying with X-plane... many many years ago I did get a Private pilot license and never continued after achieving it due to the cost. Then nearly 20 years later when I tried X-plane for the first time I was shocked at how it reminded me of flying when I was training. I have been hooked every since and I fly every day on X-plane. Congrats on such a great first flight, and thank you for your fantastic videos and help with the simulator! Now get yourself some rudder pedals you will be glad! I'll never forget the day my instructor got out of the plane and said "Ok you're ready for your first solo flight"! It was on a grass strip and I got caught a little in ground effect and floated, then bounced the plane lol but it got better and better after that!

So, after flight simming, do you feel it really prepared you for reality flying over just starting out with the real thing? By the way, love your school! Did you learn anything that was different from a flight sim flight? Are helicopters in your future as well, mostly xplane? Are you ready to get into VR flying now? lol Do you watch real world young pilot who started in Hawaii in a Cessna Caravan and now is with Envoy Airlines as copilot. I think hes like 26. Swayne Martin, on youtube also.
