Having traction issues means you have room to work. When you’re out of motor you’re out of motor. There’s tricks to be done but that’s pretty much it. Definitely a step in the right direction. You know you have more, just gotta get it laid down.

Dude I crashed early yesterday and missed this upload and Jimmy's upload. I was gonna go to us60 this weekend to hangout with Jimmy and Poland but made it 3 miles and my fuel pump took a dump on me.
The feedback between Tommy and Billy is what makes both competitive and and want to be better with each pass, better is learning and applying your tune with what you learned from the last pass..I'm very impressed with the MPH out the back were Tommy was sometimes a little out gunned but If I know Tommy he'll have a better throttle body and new tyres and then the difference between the numbers from today and the next testing will be totally looking to rematch frankinstien at the pad...
I watched it multiple times and Tommy If you put him in the right he'd have to have lifted because in the right lane frankinstien had a big move right and just clipped Tommy and the falcon...
Tommy, this season don't give nobody nothing, flip for everything, don't doubt yourself because we all see just how humble but just how good a driver you are..

That converter is tight ! You can tell by listening to it go down the track and coming up on boost .When you get it figured out it's def. going to mph more. Car sounds good !!

You boys are pretty damn sharp, but a ton of changes so can’t really expect y’all to nail it with a handful of passes. No doubt y’all will get the lil falcon set to take flight in no time.
Tune engine to make power, Tune chassis to go fast. Ask Jeff how often he changes slicks side to side? Mine were 3 to 5 passes.

The new drive line in the Falcon is really making a lot more power and over powering the tires obviously. Definitely getting there, going to be a real force with new tires. Go fast and be safe. God bless you and your family and friends.
Just be happy that the falcon was built properly and adding the bigger motor and turbos isn't too much power for the chassis.. you will get the small details lined out and be hauling in no time.. the Ol Man needs to put his monte on the back burner and finish Tommy's s10!!!

I know you guys have full plates right now, and season is upon us, but something to put in the back of your mind for this winter is to send the Falcon to House of Pearls and have them radius the wheelwells. There's a reason all the old swept fender cars had radiuses during the gasser wars. The car looks great with the factory quarters, but radius cuts make tire changes a breeze, and it'll be a few pounds lighter.
Tommy not bad driving and with the new engine you just need to find out what works and good luck and be safe and God bless you guys

Tuning the falcon to be a multi player👍 the car itself just works it seems to hook up well on any surface and always seems to make decent passes. More s10 content
Spare tires and wheels are a must ... think about it
I know this car is hard to change tires off the back, but it’s a good habit to rotate your slicks from side to side because if you run your hand over them, you will fill them feathering and when you rotate them, those feathers lay back down and help with your 60 foot
No prep and pyop are much harder on tires. Bracket racers can run a set of slicks for half a season. Some a full season depending on the car.
There’s a lot of room to work and get the right tire that the falcon likes it’s going to be fast just more testing and you will get it back to where it was at and the new converter is really tight for sure

11:50 Went to a 6.50 index race with .400 pro tree and those guys was cutting .02-.04. It seems to help to "almost" deep stage (just enough not to turn the top bulb off, but close to it) and a smaller tire seems to help.
You guys rock keep doing what you do and hopefully I will be able to meet all of you guys at a race or something you guys all seem very cool and a blast to be around love all the videos keep it up

I just started getting back into drag racing and I love your guys videos. They're so informational, especially the stuff you do on the track with no prep testing. I do have one question though. Did you buy that falcon with the roll cage in it? If not, who do you use to build cages for you?
Hey Tommy if your having doubts on the TB I’d definitely change it, if it is for sure a cheap one they will give you the run around, they usually pull air around the big fresh air line fitting if it has that and it turns any at all!

As a teen, and not a drag racer at all just a car enthusiast I jumped in a drag simulator trailer they had at Mopar national and my reaction time was .020 or .20 something and the girl was like WTF! I asked is that good? I had no idea. Tried it again and well yeah I suck as suspected
Tommy, it's called a test & tune. Those are all freebies passes. It's an opportunity to try new things and not beat yourself up if things don't go as planned.
Also, I know Shawn aka murder nova would talk about guys switching tires between Mickey's and Hoosiers based off minimal reasoning. I think it makes the most since to practice and race with with 1 tire type and use that all the time

I was always told that Hoosiers were better because they require less burnout to reach max grip, so maybe the John Force burnout was overkill, Just my opinion

I dont know shit about racing, but ive watched that Falcon do a ton of burnouts and hits and it looks like the burnout with the new engine and converter are way more aggressive and maybe thats what ate those tires up so fast? Im not sure...

Softer compound requires less burnout. Your game is changing from 60 foot to last hundred feet. I'd suggest getting an infrared thermometer for tire temps
