The set building struggles and standing in a fixed spot with everything balanced and held at the mercy of gravity is scarily relatable lol.
My condolences for your knees. There was one particular stop motion project I worked on where I needed to step over suspended cords attached to my camera, for every. single. frame. Because, if I didn't, my reflection would appear on the brick surfaces in the shot. I think I only tripped over it two times, which I think is adequate, considering I don't need to touch that project ever again.
"Perfectly calculated" vs "Most inopportune moment possible"... I know which category I fall into.
In terms of the set the best way to go which works for me is components. Have detachable sections that make up massive parts and fill in the crevices with smaller details and builds. That way having it more modular you can rebuild it fast and unique for each angle.
Reminds me of how scraped up and figure it out as you go mentality I have with my projects😂. Keep up the good work!!
When I animate, if I shift my weight my floorboards move and the whole shot changes. So I very much relate to having to stay perfectly still or at least remember where you were standing and line yourself up before each shot so everything settles the same way 😂

Good luck man, I personally can't wait these stop motions are excellent hell I'll even say better than some movies I've seen, take as long as you need or want this will be legendary

For non-specific reasons that have zero relation to anything at all What would you recomend for someone just starting to grasp the basics of Stop motion themselves,
i would recommend looking up the principles of animation, then buying some sticky poster tack to make sure stuff doesn't fall over, and animating in a dark room without natural light

Really like the set up however why is there a plasma battery attached to the front of the Covenant AA gun? Don’t think the Covenant attached them to the fronts of their AA guns
i need some kind of visible explosive piece to stick out of the bottom for action set piece reasons. i'm not sure how the ammo is stored on these things, so that's what i came up with
@@mootroidXproductions Ah i see. That makes a lot of sense. In Halo Reach the Covenant Tyrant AA gun has ammo cases or plasma batteries strewn around it on the ground. But there’s no visible outside weakpoint besides just blasting away multiple times with a Tank on the head of the AA gun. And then the core is in the bottom middle of the AA gun.
