    I watched this live and remember wondering why you checked the flop. It’s amazing how much one street can tilt the favor of the outcome of a hand. If there’s on thing I’ve learned from watching your channel it’s “don’t under-rep a hand if you’re not prepared to make huge call downs” cause most good players will bet when they sense weakness. Of course, that can work in our favor, but I think more often than not it’s better to play one’s hand fairly straight forward and let people guess!

    Great call with AK. I always heard that players are afraid of getting bluffed in stream. I understand in your case protecting your brand but it never bothered me if I lose to a bluff on stream. I just try to play my best based on the information I have. I did make a bad call on stream for a 1500 dollar river bet (I think it was just about a 6k pot) at TCH in 10/25/50 when a flush came on the river and I made a bad read. It was against a good player capable of making a move and representing a flush. I wasn’t thinking about getting bluffed on stream but I really thought I had the best hand.

    For the first hand right from the jump I was questioning the assumption that torrelli is only opening a tight range in this set up - simply because he’s a thinking and skilled player who wants to play IP against weaker players as much as possible. That being said - tough river decision. Even with a wider range than first assumed, it’s hard to find value hands we beat, or bluffs. I agree it’s more likely to be a pure bluff or nothing. I wouldn’t fault going either way here, but I would probably fold because I lean a little too nitty and I tend to bum hunt so I’d probably try wait for a clearer spot against some of the other players at the table 😂

    If the Hustler Casino production has a glitch regarding the card reader/display, that is huge. How many other hands are being shown as 'mucked' when in fact they are not the cards actually held by the players? Hustler needs to have a serious look at what is being displayed vs what is actually held.

    Bart is an amazing coach and player. I watch and will be subscribing soon. One point I disagree with. On the river against Torelli it isn't a bad fold at all. If you fold and he's bluffing no decent poker player would consider getting outplayed. Why? It is an underbluffed spot. Look at the board texture. It's not like he's running you over on a 10 high paired rainbow board and you have a big overpair. Given the combos you mentioned this for me is a fold. It is a bluff catcher. Honestly I don't believe this is in the top 50 percent of hands you arrive with on the river. (Pocket QQ, Pocket AA, K10 suited, AJ,) This is either a brillant or awful call. In this case brilliant. Keep up the good work

    • @AT-bw4cm
      @AT-bw4cm Рік тому

      Bart could certainly slow play AA most of the time, however he will bet flop with QQ most of the time as he unblocks his opponent having an A. Torelli could have 12 combos of AK and 2 combos of AQs (Torelli likely folds AQ offsuit preflop.) Bart is never 4 betting K10s or AJ against an opponent he deems tight aggressive and competent. Bart said there was a case for a fold on the river, however you have to take into account factors beyond the one hand. Meta is important. Bart knows he has a tight image and therefore can exploitatively bluff catch more against capable opponents. There is no one like a Garrett or Mariano on the table who will drop the hammer and perhaps Torelli would use this as a license to try to bully. When players are down for the session, they will open up their game and try harder to win it back (tilt.) Because it is a live stream and players want to get invited back they will have a higher than normal bluffing frequency.

If the only AJ and KJ he has are suited combos then the Ac and the Kc/Ks don't block any of his trips. 10 combos of AK have at least one of those 3 cards and only 6 don't . You have one of the good 6 combos. If you think its close between calling/folding why not just call the good combos fold the bad ones?

      If you’re gonna under-rep your hand it should be to induce more bluffs or thin value bets that you can pick off.

You basically lose to AJ, QJs, Jxs and beat all the draws like T9s, random flush draws, maybe even Qx he’s turning into a bluff, and even ATs going for thin value. You block KT, KJ, and unblock all flush draws. Call faster next time plz ;).

    A10 and K10 are the same hands from Hellmuth's perspective. They are both bluff catchers. Hellmuth realizes that J.R. is not value betting anything worse than A10. Any hand that A10 beats K10 also beats. So most likely, Hellmuth knew he had K10.

    • @AT-bw4cm
      @AT-bw4cm Рік тому

      But would he donk k10 on the turn? Seems very unlikely. He doesn't know JR is going to raise and bet river. JR could have Ax flush draws. He loses to bluffed 45, 56 of clubs and maybe some Ax clubs if Phil thinks A10 could be good.

    This is a fold, except against Alec Torelli. Good luck, sir!

    I'm wondering how those RFD readers work?
    if it's programmed to pick the number from the card database that closely matches the scan if the scanned doesn't match exactly. Or is it program to give an error if the scan doesn't match the card in the database or if it can misread the scan that misread is actually another card there should be redundancies to prevent that.

    Maybe a fold in other games, but never in this one. I can’t help but notice they are always trying to run you over. I am sure you are aware of that, and maybe even subconsciously gave that a thought when you found the correct call. I was cheering for you on that one, I am not a fan of Alec at all.
