My first girlfriend which i found at 26 was visually attractive but unfortunately she wasn’t physically in terms of weight. But she was the most caring and attentive person. I was depressed and she made me see the light. It gave me a huge ego boost and i thought i could do better and dumped her after a year and dated this smoking hot woman. Thing is the woman was shallow and had no personality and wasnt marriage material even though thats all she talked about. I learned my lesson im 27 i still got plenty time.
And that first girlfriend is with a loving man and im happy for her. Even when we broke things off i told her you deserve better and you are a diamond.

If this is true, not only do I attract toxic women, but they're all throughout my family, my friends, my coworkers, women I served with, etc. Flies, indeed. Even (especially) the ones that proclaim to be "good" women almost always show the opposite, given a little runway.
That is not to say that ALL women are bad. Not at all. Same as thinking all men are after one thing. But to those of us, who have been told, and shown, that we're not worth it, we're useless, and she'd be lowering her standards, by talking to us, we're not buying it. A man she can trust, who'll be gentle and caring will likely turn out to be her backup plan, in case the the man she wants doesn't come through.

Like almost every guy in the world, I need a visual attraction (she needs to be pretty to me), but any ladies I find attractive invariably do not feel the same. I also want a physically fit woman, and realize with just those two preferences i have eliminated probably about 95% of the ladies over the age of 45 (I'm 57). For the most part, the ladies I find attractive do not give enough time to lear about the men they reject. After few basic questions online I try to ask for a date. This goes one of two ways: it leads to either endless chat, or they flat out ghost me. I do not get a 'yes' answer, nor do I get a 'no' answer, just no answer at all.

I work for the girl we work together for a while and when they told me she loved me and a few months later she moved but about 13 hours away, we stayed in touch for nearly 2 years and telling each other we love each other every day and then one day she told me she loved me 6 hearts behind the message and I haven’t heard from her since several months, I don’t understand what goes what’s going on
