Katarina, for me has the best option because u can choose, cuz if you need AD you can build it AD, if you need AP also you can do it. It's just to know which one to choose.

AD kata wins every time if he attscks at the same second ap attacks. You can see that as kata attacks like 1 sec later (after ap kata has e - q) and still nearly dies.

AP is better early because you can deal more damage with your Q and the passive deals more damage with AP build
AD kata is better in terms of damage and utility at the cost of a hellish laning phase
actually ap is horrible early game since you don't have auto atk dmg, just your skills and passive, while ad has the better lane phase cause you have your skill dmg and also a lot of basic atk dmg
@@metanol6151 you don't get that much auto against champion with reliable cc and generally better players, they know how spacing work and you won't get kill pressure in mid lane and roaming with ad kata felt much worse than ap if the enemy team also have cc

@@Helloing69 ad is better overall since terminus release, and Kat has a insta teleport on her kit allowing her to do a lot of autos
@@metanol6151 her e range is about the same auto range of mages so you can't just jump on people that easily and terminus does absolutely nothing without your ult
@@Helloing69 and yet she can easily kill some mages like syndra and veigar, and I mentioned terminus because before it, she didn't built any pen item on her ad onhit build when kraken was mythic item, only sunderer had both pen%, but it was low, with guinsoo mythic it becomes viable, before it, even with her ult getting 5k physical dmg, without pen% less than half of this value was the dmg itself, now with terminus giving both pen% she can perform better with ad build
