Hey bro! Love the vid. Could you please explain a bit further on when to build ap vs ad on Katarina? I still don't fully get when to build what and I'm trying to get good on her. Would appreaciate it bro!
Honestly I don't know if it's just me or this season but AP feels so weak. Whenever I go AP I feel like I do no damage even to enchanters and adc's even when up levels and gold. At this point I just spam AD build, and actually enjoy the AD play style more since missing anything on AP kat just leaves you with no damage against someone who most likely can aa me to death.
AD is better almost always rn but AP is more fun imo and you get to one shot waves quicker so in matchups like Twisted fate that can be nice Mainly just pick AD into high cc, if allies are full AP, if enemies are full AP (bcs you get wits end and merc treads), or vs tanky enemies…
I'm a main kata myself from what i noticed when there is tank champs against building attack speed items is obviously more worth since it gives sustain + damage and if you build full ap into mundo or zac per example it would be a waste would you go death dance as forth item to secure not dying in the first game or would you build wits end ? versus full CC compostion morgana supp rammus jungle and skarner top how would you go against them if the game is 25 min + ?
death's dance is terrible imo the stats it gives are just not good enough to replace an on-hit or tank item, something like randuins would be much better vs morgana rammus skarner, I would want to be full AP so like nash, sorc shoes, liandry, riftmaker, rabadons, cryptbloom since rammus is bad into magic damage and skarner and morgana ccs are easy to dodge you should rarely be getting hit by them but if I am AD vs morgana rammus skarner it would be kraken slayer, merc treads, bork, terminus, wit's end, titanic hydra. (you can sell boots for steraks if game lasts long enough)
@@AurarityLoL I love the delay of death dance tankiness and it nullify the damage taken if it kills , in kata it may be very interesting otherwise I barely play kata when I see an anti katarina composition or this is what I was waiting for the answer I'm trying to find another main to enjoy as katarina beside draven''s mechanics I see no one who can replace the fun of playing katarina
@@adamproud7986 Yeah tbh it is rare for the enemies to have a good comp for kat so you will learn the champ much faster by just picking her into anything but out of other champs, I recommend you to try viego mid cassiopeia and kassadin
