Double Dare should be made permanent based off the comments here. SO many of us would buy this in a heartbeat but didn’t get a chance! Please restock!
I love Simply, I just wish these videos could come out before the launches. That way I can look at the polishes, choose the ones I love and then purchase. I feel I'm either stress buying or not getting a chance to purchase at all. So many polishes go out of sale within the first few minutes, so if you don't buy them RIGHT AWAY, you don't get a chance at all.
How do I know if I'm going to love the polishes if I haven't even looked at them? I don't even have time to watch this 3 minute video before products go out of stock. I guess it works for her as a producer standpoint, but as a consumer, it discourages me. Sorry for raining on the Holo parade guys. I just wanted to share.
Yah I don't see why we can't have (proper) previews and swatches of the upcoming polishes at least a day before. Especially for limited edition and seasonal polishes. Other brands show off their upcoming polishes days before launch. And it's not like she can't do the blurry/black-and-white/leaks/gif-of-polish-being-mixing marketing that she and some stans love so much leading up to the polish showcase.

Ahhh wanted it too but it’s already sold out only 2 hours after launch! The metallic is my favorite formula ever and I’ve been DYING for a red. Bummed that it sold out so quickly.

@@OpportunisticOmnivore the red frosted is actually a seasonal and not a limited so you may get another shot at it, it just won't be in the limited edition box. Same with the glow in the dark, it is also seasonal.

@@acutetoad Thank you for recommending a store that actually sells products. The Halo Taco store is ridiculous. Sold out only 17 hours after the video showing the product. I was busy yesterday and now it is gone. I like Holo Taco, but is just really bad launching a product but giving people less than 24 hours to buy it.
@@RailwayHacker I'm not sure if you listen to SimplyPodLogical, but Cristine is always talking about how they are trying to do better in terms of items selling out quickly after launch. They have done MUCH better but it can still be difficult to project how much product to make. I know it's disappointing, but I wouldn't be resentful about it! They still make amazingly quality items.

Just want to say how lame it is that everything special sold out in under an hour after launch. I know there is a possibility of getting more but this just sucks. I used to be able to go through my daily life on a Saturday and during down time buy my holo taco then but I can't even get anything during launch day. Also you finally made a beautiful red frosted metal and it's all gone. I know it's the nature of the business but it sucks

Didn't get an email that this was even happening until 2 days ago - so doesn't leave customers with much time to plan - and then when I login not 2 hrs after it's early morning drop everything is out of stock? I thought Cristine learned from the Julien release NOT to do this type of crap again. Guess I'll be buying from Cirque Colors - at least they knew their customer base well enough to know that a glow-in-the-dark topper would sell out immediately during this time period and ensured plenty of stock. SMH

honestly I'm still disappointed this collection sold out so quickly. I recognize it's mostly fomo, but it feels like this was sold out so much more quickly than other collections in the past. And even if the other polishes come back, unless it's sold as a bundle we'd have to pay even more for shipping if we want to catch each polish drop. I hope they consider bringing the full bundle back.

uuuggggh im broke but must get double dare, reminds me of when I put party punch over one coat black, people kept complimenting my nails, this and glow in the dark took my attention, wanted to buy it with glow in the dark but I guess I need to get atleast 1 bottle of double dare before it goes!! will have to wait for restock and hoping I can afford them by then!!

I am so disappointed. I already sent an email to HT support. But I bought the Wicked Sister duo only, and received Favorite Sister and Resting Witch Face. :( This was my birthday gift to myself, and I didn't even get the polish I really wanted even though the website claimed it was in stock and let me purchase it. I assume I will never see Double Dare in person because it's already sold out. 😑

Has anyones order been shipped yet? Mine still says unfulfilled. Just wondering if this is a normal wait time for the releases. I thought she said orders would be shipped on tuesday. Was that this week's Tuesday (11th) or tuesday the 18th?
mine is still unfulfilled, too! last time, i bought on aug 3, got a shipping email on aug 4, and the package arrived on aug 10. so about a little over a week to ship (and it was a few polishes from the gala launch). i still haven't received a shipping email, so i think they are having trouble since this collection sold out much quicker than gala collection.

I was working the day of the release and when I went to buy the polishes after my shift I wasn’t able to get glow in the dark taco or favourite sister. I get every collection and I desperately need you to restock those two in particular please please please 😢
they are seasonal! those are the two polishes i missed, too, but no worries! the only thing not returning from those two is the limited edition red box for jen's polish. otherwise, we still have the ability to buy glow in the dark and favourite sister

Simply said Favorite Sister will be seasonal (only the box is limited edition). It sounds like they want to get it back for the holidays, but she didn't guarantee anything about when it would be back in stock.
in Christine's story on UA-cam, she said the only polish limited edition is double dare (the dark multichrome). She's said the rest will be coming back, including favorite sister (the red one featuring here)
So sad Favourite Sister is exactly what I put in the survey as what I wanted next! But I live in Australia and missed out, by the time I woke up it was already gone. 😢😢😢😢😢

Bit of a rant here. TL;DR is that I am a little disappointed from this launch and I know a lot of people are upset that they weren't able to get this collection.
I was waiting for this launch for days. I absolutely loved the teaser emails we got as Loyal Tea members. But I was really disappointed with this launch as a customer. For a company, fantastic launch, almost everything sold out and that's great. As a consumer, that is really upsetting, for a couple reasons, first, we miss out on getting limited edition polishes, as well as potential limited edition items (not that the bag was limited edition, but it could've been). Secondly, I am someone who is consistently purchasing every collection, expecting to get this one as well. Showing up to the launch a couple hours late only to see that the majority of everything is sold out, is probably more upsetting than the first reason.
I understand that Holo Taco is a new company, and is still considered a small indie style company. However, I don't think it's possible to think that this collection would not be popular. How would going from last year's birthday launch not tell you anything. Existential Crisis was sold out by the end of the day, (if I recall correctly) and it was only two polishes that were released. I know that the team has been working hard in trying to get an idea about how many units will sell the day of launch, and how many units they want to still have in stock for a few hours/days after launch. I assume that limited edition launches are a bit different than regular launch days, which makes sense, the items are sticking around for awhile.
Earlier today I was checking Twitter, to see how the launch went, and why there wasn't enough for everyone to get the collection. I was genuinely surprised by just how many people were unable to get everything they wanted. I hope that we see a restock of this collection, or at the very least a restock of the more Halloween themed polishes. The sister duo makes sense to stay limited, but not the Halloween ones.
I'm sorry to vent so harshly here, but it's something that has bothered me all day. I know that the team is doing their best, and I hope they understand where I'm coming from. I just genuinely love the product and I want it to succeed, it's just really unfortunate when I can't partake in the goodies.
Edit: I just checked Twitter and Cristine posted an update 2 hours ago about the inventory issues with this launch and it just made my day. All the polishes besides Double Dare, which is the only one that is Limited Edition, will be restocked. And this is why we love it here! Thank you Holo Taco Team!
