    You know what I've found is fantastic with chickpea pancakes? Adding vegetable broth instead of water. It gives it just the right flavor boost!

    My husband has been diagnosed with aggressive rheumatoid arthritis and we are trying to heal his gut by eliminating almost EVERYTHING including oil. You can make this bread without oil....I just put a large piece of parchment paper in a cast iron skillet and baked it that way. Worked great! ♥
    He loves to toast it in the toaster and just munch it with sprouts etc.

      Judy W. I have AR also, I take a tblsp if coconut oil everyday my or try to, and it seems to really help. Olive oil is healthy also. Sugar and cheap white flour makes RA worse. For sure ,

    This is so healthy. As she says the oil is healthy. When we visit Liguria I always order a farinata in the local restaurants in Laiguellgia. Beautiful. I make it regularly at home, add veg such as cavelo nero, spinace, onion, etc.

    👍Very nice. 😍Thanks for sharing & demoing. 💞 I made some farinata (I was craving some of that great farinata I had when I was in Tuscany) in the oven along with a few individual pancake sized ones on the stove top in a cast iron skillet last night with some caramelized onions in the batter it was wonderful. I love your videos. It feels like I’m in the kitchen with my mom (bless her heart may she RIP). I appreciate the time & effort you put into making and sharing recipe videos with us.🤗💞🤗

      Yes, use dried garbanzos, and blend them. They are raw, and dried, from the food store. If you cook this raw garbanzos, when you blend them you get hummus

    I don't do oil...it's a highly refined substance, and not a whole food, plus there is a lot of dishonesty in the olive oil industry...and you aren't always getting fresh, or pure olive oil.
    Oils are also damaging to your endothelia tisses. I might do a bit of tahini in it's place if it needs some fat content, otherwise I'd leave it out.

    • @conniesrawsomekitchen
      @conniesrawsomekitchen  5 років тому +1

      Yes I myself in this family try to stay away for oil. but a lot of people and the rest of my family don't mind it. if ur leaving it out do it on parchment
