- The 2020 Porsche Boxster GTS 4.0 fixes the convertible's biggest problem - the clattery four-pot engine. It now gets the 4.0-litre six-cylinder from the 718 GT4 and Spyder - but does it turn the Boxster into the sports car it always should've been? I have a Cayman GTS 2.5 4pot and am not dissatisfied as a daily.
It replaced a Cayman 981 GTS, which I also loved. It sounded amazing but was otherwise less good in a lot of ways.
This is good to know. I would still go for the GTS 4.0 from the current lot

Only if an idiot trying to impress juveniles (girls) does sound matter. I am an old slow guy did 8:29, 4 cyc, PDK. great around town, GREAT on the Track.
the 4 cyc has about the same performance as this 6 cyc.
Mid engine is Great. (European Delivery, they ship it to USA on boat and transport it to Dealership, no extra cost.) Great Vacation. Yes 5 Weeks, 242 Laps on Ring.

Yeah you should get a Cayman indeed. Why British people like convertibles? Cause it never rains in England I guess.
The gearing's too long? Drive faster! Pretty sure this is God's company car. Well, on heaven's roads there's no dawdlers or Mokka's etc

Great video. FYI, noticed you're probably using a suction cup camera mount. If you want to capture the best footage angle I use the RoadSpy RS1 on my Cayman. Way way better than those suction cups.

Same here I ordered on the 16th of January as soon as it was announced, last update I had was my car is in Emden so hopefully on the next boat to Grimsby, where are you collecting yours from?

I was a bit weirded out - it's the first manual RHD car I've driven in 2020… and I've driven quite a lot of cars this year

Mehdi Fasih when I signed off the order on my Cayman a couple of weeks ago I asked and my dealer felt they won’t come through in the UK till later in 2021. He only had 2 build slots this year for a Cayman GTS and didn’t expect many more in 2021.
