I would reply that the question is erroneous. That question can only be raised under the ideology of islam i.e there is space for thought process/a paradigm where one can think and regret/celeberate his death. I am a christened Roman Catholic, turned Agnostic at a young age, who will soon take his Shahada, as I believe Allah SWT is the center of creation and I adore Islam and it's teachings, as well as the unseen levels of brotherhood and sisterhood of within. As much of respect and admiration as I have for mr. Mohammed Hijab, I must adress one thing which I'm not fond of. His facial expressions, most of the time while listening to other side of the table, are those of arrogance (in a lack of a better word, because English is not my 1st language). It seems he doesn't listen with open heart and open mind, even though he is a philosopher and more importatnly, a prominent muslim. He smirks all the time and I hope I'm not the only one who sees it. He knows he is right, I know he is right and most of you know he is right, but that doesn't mean he should look upon others in that particular way. I understand he must be tired of all of these debates with non-believers, sometimes fatigue can get the better out of a person and I wish no harm to him by these words of mine. If I'm wrong here, in the name of Allah SWT, please correct me as I failed to know better at the moment of writing this comment. Peace and love brothers and sisters.

Additionally there were several disturbances and the chair kept talking at length instead of timekeeping.

A bit disappointed honestly. I am an engineer/computer scientist, and have been practicing Islam for nearly 10 years now. I am not philosophically trained, nor religiously trained, and my knowledge is primarily from UA-cam lectures and/or books. Despite that, I could find so many problematic and inconsistent statements with the atheists' positions. I expected more, I wanted to be challenged. Indeed, if we build walls of intellectualism upon foundations of truth, these walls would be unshakably and firmly grounded on all fronts. And walls of intellectualism built upon falsehood will always end in collapse. Alhamdulillah for Islam.
The challenge is knowing that the opposition to the truth always have the same mechanical behaviour. It is just like reciting quran getting to the ayah of satan telling his feelings, or hearing about the wrong doers, then come the next week or the next month or the next year (depending upon how much time it takes to complete reading the quran) and hearing the same phrase of satan telling us his feelings or hearing about the wrong doers. So much so it becomes like periods of the moon or heavenly bodies. The deniers arguments being so predictable.
Scientist of engineering in chemicals of materials here. Same. What we saw here was a respectful display from atheists, which is uncommon from past debates like with krauss, aron ra or wood, and that is why atheists struggle. It s because when the atheist doesnt play semantics or attack with ad homs, his position becomes painfully obviously as an emotional dogmatist..
Here to say that I am sorry you thought that atheism was suppose to be a challenge. There is no challenge to Islam. Only a challenge to muslims. Holdfast and Alhadmullilah!

I think MH got heated because the atheists kept missing the points of the questions the muslims were putting forward and then the atheists make a sly comment about some Islamic legal concept they deem as wrong. 1. They fail to answer questions. 2. They make false comments about Islam. 3. They tell MH to calm down when he raises his voice. This discussion was an awkward mess especially with the weird hosts' interjections and passive aggressiveness.
They also came into the discussion of morality with the belief that their view is correct, which infuriated Hijab since he was asking why they thought that. Notice how they didn’t respond to why they think their morality should be the only way for everyone.
1. presentation/introduction panel peoples were very unprofessional shuttering and lacking and interrupt in very important moment 2x. 2. mark oppenheimer start to gives examples from the Quran about morality Which they don't know what they are talking about, they don't even study the Classic Arabic so they don't know classic Arabic. all of this things the mark has been mentioned or talk about from the Quran about morality those things has been dealt with so many time and answered, some claims he made are not from the Quran, some of them are just blunt lies that has been made up by islamophobs long long time ago. it just shows his (mark) lack of research about this topic before came into panel. 3. after that Muhammad Hijab got angry. he never should get angry or triggered by this people also I want to say to Mark that he never should talk about those things he doesn't know/researched completely or fully about those topic. 4. I also believe Hamza also get trigger or angry after mark speech. and later Hamza and Hijab made little bit of fun or bully the Atheist panel. which I don't support also I don't support mark it just shows his lack of research about this topic before came into panel. 5. this discussion was not about morality it was about the existence of god true or false. 6. my discussion rating over all 7.5/10
The point MH was making was simple and they knew they were stuck. As an atheist you have no basis of morality, so when you choose to make an assessment on it, you have to at least show were your basis is. MH was saying..since you won't make it clear, your statement seems to be based off a system that is infallible and morally proven to cause more damage in the lifespan of it's activity. Where as we (Muslims) have had a guide on moral truths from creation, and then reaffirmed through our final prophet. How dare he then pass judgement from a vacuum or even a currpt system while then hiding your hands saying he wasn't there to tell where his actual source of morality stemmed from

Wallahi such academic discussion creates an awe among non-Muslims or nonbelievers and elevates Islam and its intellectual discourse and love for the deen. We need more such initiatives.
Respect to Hijab for not letting their attempts at silencing him stop him. These athiests need to speak with their chest and argue the points, instead of crying about being scared and “uncomfortable” about Hijab’s tone of voice lol. They should expect different personalities and styles of debating. And also, the panellist moderators were absolutely unprofessional and rude. What a joke.
@@kamranabbasi6757yes but regardless some people have a more assertive and authoritative personality, this is how Hijab is and always has been, if you are a grown up you should have no issue accepting this rather than being intimidated by it
@@truth80855 minutes until hijab interrupted him. God knows how long he would have gone on for. He was clout chasing of hijabs name and tried to include himself in the debate.
Muhammad Hijab is very talented! Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah, Allah has blessed him with a remarkably retentive memory. I've watched many of his debates, and most of the time, he speaks without referring to a paper or any device. What a blessing to the ummah! I have a question, MH. How do you remember so much accurately while speaking quickly and articulately?
Now I’ve seen it all… moderators interrupting a debate to then interject their own views and opinions instead of letting the panelists argue their points🤦🏻♂️
i think they was frustrated that they organised a debate agaisnt the muslim brothers and did bring the best of the best and still the brothers handled that very easly, they made a trap that didnt work at all 😂
I'm from SA and I'm ashamed at how this discussion was handled by the guy in blue! Why should we be submissive when they make false claims. I have the greatest of respect for both M. Hijab and Tzortis. May Allah bless you and keep you steadfast on this path. Allahu Akbr
wow the chair was so unprofessional and unorganised, could get even set a time for q/a. also the beeping noise so they had fix that issue and waste time. then they started to blame the 4 people because they did not get time for q/a. its not they fault its chair for not organising it properly
@@lokidedbeat1878 Imagine trying to blame the panelist’s when they couldn’t get the debate in order. What a bunch of clowns. SA I’m disappointed. If I was MH or Hamza I would decline any further invitations from them.
And what was up with the chairman and his erm erm erm and fancy hands? Also the uncle next to him coming out at the last moment to throw his toys out of the cot😂 As a former UJ student, this was totally embarrassing. Not mentioning the weak atheist arguments. Come on you're going up against 2 giants, is this the best UJ could put forward? Mohammed and Hamza are true legends. Alhamdulillah ALLAH PAK bless you for all the work you do and the many whome you inspire.
The chair was seemingly maliciously interrupting Hijab and Hamza repeatedly when they were making important points and saving the atheists when they clearly could not answer the inquiries of the rational mind.😢 the Muslims clearly won the debate intellectually ❤ despite the constant nagging of the chair. Even the audience members were shaking their heads in disappointment at the behavior of the chair.😂 edit: I see in comments that enraged atheists are trying to sound funny by insulting the Muslims as the Muslims won the debate fair and square. Please refrain from your crybaby tactics as grown men with integrity do not display such foolish and weak behavior.
Not even sure how the chair got his position. He could barely form a coherent sentence without saying um and losing his train of thought… The four speakers were very precise with their articulation 👏👏
In fact, most people do not believe in religion to avoid responsibility. Because they are afraid of not living the life they want. Why should they believe in a religion that prohibits alcohol, pork, gambling, premarital sex, eating interest, commands giving alms to the poor, and commands prayer 5 times a day?
Wow. What was wrong with the “moderators”.. Absolutely abysmal. Blaming the panelist’s because they couldn’t get the debate in order (Which was their job) 😂 What a bunch of numpties. Some of the SA people seemed too passive as well. If I were MH or Hamza I would think twice before visiting SA again. The Atheist was making claims and when countered by MH started playing the victim. He didn’t swear, he didn’t use violence. He was only speaking passionately. You don’t have to be a robot during a discussion. It actually made the conversation more interesting. Keep it up Muhammad. 👍
My brother, I agree with you, but why paint all South Africans with the same brush in saying that MH & HT must think twice of come to SA again. Have you ever been to my country to make a statement like this? Don't be stupid, or do you also think that lions and buffalo's walk in the streets here.
I was introduced to Islam 24 years ago and while I may not practice Islam whole-heartedly, I believe that the Qur’an is the true authentic message from God.
brother, if you believe that it is the authentic message, shouldn’t the fear lead you to attempt to be a practicing muslim. wish all the best on you bro
Take it one day at a time, each day you're a different muslim and judge what you do on that day and seek forgiveness for what has passed and yet to come. Allah is the most merciful.
Aslong as what the other comments have said. Take your Shahada. Now you don't have to be a "full time" Muslim. Just refrain from major sin and within time you would naturally adjust, Allah never said to go from 0 to 100, that's one reason he's the most Merciful. Now don't take it the wrong way, it dosent mean you can play the game May God's mercy be upon you. Alhamdullillah
ما شاء الله تبارك الله Bro Hijab I love the way you speak to the atheists. How can someone who denies the existence of a Creater ever be respected? May Allah bless you for the izzah you and bro Hamza have demonstrated that Islam and the Muslims should have.
What if simply the scriptures and all of the claims it makes is simply not satisfactory answer. I'm not a religious person, more of agnostic type. Regardless, if you wanna have a debate then you have to be respectful for even the opposing views. When someone is disrespectful to Hijab, every muslim will jump to his defense and say stuff like "Hijab was respectful and this person acted like a fool" etc but when he is being disrespectful and throwing tantrum, its suddenly okay.
Honestly, I enjoyed this debate. I thought it was very weak of the atheists to try to tell you that you were being aggressive. The same could be said about the long haired atheist who said "you're still interrupting me" to Hamza when Hamza was saying "please, please" when trying to give him the floor to speak. Furthermore, the chair people were clearly biased. They only interrupted one side every single time. Hijab and Hamza were outstanding. MA shaa Allah
*What is meant by heaven and hell?* Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: As a matter of fact, Paradise is not a word that refers only to trees, fruits, food, drink, hoor al-‘een, rivers and palaces.👉 *Most people are mistaken when they think that Paradise is limited to that, for Paradise is a name for the abode of perfect and absolute bliss, and one of the greatest joys of Paradise will be the pleasure of gazing upon the noble Countenance of Allah and hearing His words, and the delight of being close to Him and attaining His pleasure. There can be no comparison between the physical pleasures in Paradise - such as food, drink, clothing and images - and that pleasure.Attaining the least divine pleasure is greater than Paradise and all that it contains,* as Allah, may He be exalted, says 👉 (interpretation of the meaning): *“But the good pleasure of Allah is greater still” [at-Tawbah 9:72].* In other words, no matter the extent to which Allah is pleased with His slave, even if it is small, *it is still greater than Paradise.* In the *saheeh hadith* about seeing Allah, it says: *“… and Allah will not give them anything that is dearer to them than gazing upon His Countenance.”* According to another hadith: “When He, may He be glorified, manifests Himself to them and they see His Countenance with their own eyes, *they will forget all the bliss that they had been enjoying,* and will become oblivious to that joy and will pay no attention to it.” Undoubtedly, this is how it is, And the matter is much greater than one could think or imagine, especially when the lovers there find themselves with the one whom they love, for a person will be with the one whom he loves. What bliss, delight, joy or triumph could come close to the joy, pleasure and tranquillity of being with Allah? Is there anything superior to the pleasure and joy of being close to the Beloved, for there is nothing greater than Him, or more perfect, or more beautiful, and nothing could give greater comfort and happiness? This - by Allah - is the type of knowledge that the lovers are striving hard to attain, and is the banner around which all those who have knowledge of Allah rally. It is the most important thing in Paradise, through which Paradise becomes a place of joy, and the life of Paradise is based on that. So how can it be said that one should not worship Allah for the sake of attaining Paradise or for fear of Hell? 👉 *Similarly, Hell* - may Allah protect us from it - is a place where its dwellers will suffer a great deal when they are partitioned away from Allah and suffer disgrace, divine wrath and anger, and being far away from Him. That will be worse than the flames of fire in their bodies and souls. In fact, the flames of this fire in their hearts is what led to the flames burning their bodies, for those flames spread everywhere in their bodies from their hearts. The aspiration of the Prophets and Messengers, the siddeeqs (the strong and true in faith), the martyrs and the righteous is Paradise, and what they seek to flee from is Hell. And Allah is the source of strength, and in Him we put our trust. There is no power and no strength except with Allah; Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs. {Madaarij as-Saalikeen (2/80, 81)}
I hold three degrees, including a doctorate. I anticipated that a panel moderated by philosophy educators might be tumultuous, as many in this field are deeply passionate about their own ideas, which can lead to conflicts of ego. The individual on the left (atheist) who made remarks about Muslims seemed to be seeking an emotional response, either from the audience or fellow panelists. I’ve observed Hijab’s previous debates, and his passion has always been evident; expecting otherwise is naive. Moreover, the moderator's laughing reaction to a panelist speaking in Arabic was notably unprofessional, reinforcing Hamzah's earlier concerns about the event. I also sense that the moderators might have felt they could outperform the panelists, which could explain the event’s inception off-camera and its conclusion. In the future, it would be wise to engage unbiased event coordinators. Also, I'm puzzled as to why the elderly Indian gentleman criticized the panelist for time allocation, especially when it's primarily the moderators' responsibility to oversee time management. This doesn't appear very professional. I’m not sure what the moderators thought they were there for.
although i technically agree that the moderator is within his rights to allow time extension for the panelists to discuss among themselves even into time allocated for public Q&A, in spirit i think it is still more wise and gentlemanly for them to respect the time, because the public doesn't have as much luxury to pose their own questions to the panelists due to logistical limitations - this might be the only opportunity for them to do so, whereas the panelists are more likely able to continue their high level discussions among themselves during their own private free time after the session.
As an academic it hurts to see the level at which this event was hosted! Hijab and Hamza, you handled them really well! I advise not to waste your time and energy on these small confrences apart from the masajid or islamic platforms. All the best and looking forward to more of the wonderful discussions from your side!
I got sucked into the new age atheist religion. The fact that I couldn't prove God empirically, stumped me as a kid and made Islam seem like a blind faith religion to my young and impressionable mind. They told me that religion was a tool of mass control and indoctrination with no evidence. I blindly followed their religion of naturalism over our religion of truth. However, when dared to actually picked up the Quran, that we can prove has never been changed. I saw all the proof that a logical and rational mind needed to accept the truth. May Allah shower you all with his mercy, knowledge, and guidance. If I can't meet you all in this life, then inshAllah we'll continue this discussion in the afterlife. @@othmanbajunaid9762 Yes and Hijab tried to waffle and boast and committed so many ridiculous fallacies. He even tried to bring race into the debate. What a pathetic tool
I’m not a theist but I can’t help bring up the hypocrisy of Mark Oppenheimers proposals. First of all, at 44:48 he brings up Immanuel Kants categorical imperative, and he asks us to imagine a world where everyone lied to trick people into giving them money. From the chaos that would ensue from everyone in the world lying to trick people into giving them money, we can deduct that the individual act of lying to trick someone into giving you money is wrong, or immoral. Fine, suppose we agree with this tool, but notice the hypocrisy when he proceeds to discuss utilitarian frameworks and the harm principle. At 56:32 Mark mentions the idea that since homosexual actions don’t create suffering, nor do they violate anyone’s rights, they shouldn’t be forbidden. What happened to the application of Kant’s categorical imperative? What chaos would ensue if everyone was homosexual? This is especially problematic since atheists primarily argue that the continuation of the human species is 1. Why we are here through the process of evolution, and 2. The primary purpose of human life. If an action threatens the continuation of the human species, how can one not consider this the ultimate suffering? This is again highlighting the hypocrisy in the proposals made and the inability to specify what is and isn’t suffering
One could argue that insemination would ensure the continuation of the human species. In other words: The progress of our time, our technological development has made it possible for us to abstain from procreation through coition.
Hijab reminded me of Sarah Maidah 54 O believers! Whoever among you abandons their faith, Allah will replace them with others who love Him and are loved by Him. They will be humble with the believers but firm towards the disbelievers, struggling in the Way of Allah; fearing no blame from anyone. This is the favour of Allah. He grants it to whoever He wills. And Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.
Hijab and Hamza debating these two atheists is like Messi and Ronaldo playing football against two kids . Brother Hijab and Brother Hamza are way more experienced and competent academically and intellectually in this topic.😅

The host's inclusion in debate was by far the biggest negative, led to disorder and hurt egos. On the argumentation, atheists were unimpressive and did not convey a single compelling argument against Islam. It became apparent very quickly that they were constantly on the back foot and underestimated the Islamic position. mA well done to HT and MH for your efforts in articulating the Islamic view so eloquently and with knowledge. MH did the right thing, not lending validity to any of the nonsense oldschool arguments brought by one opposition.
@teaspoon7 lol yeah, the only issue is that MH and HZ kept on interuppting the atheists, they really could only barely get their points across. I wish instead they would have brought on, Dr. Ali Ataie, who in my opinion and knowledge is one of the best educated muslims teachers on such stuff.
@@eggstravagent3801imo the Atheist that was making stuff up about burning people alive didn’t present a good argument. I did however think the novel (to me) syllogism by the second Atheist was good - but it didn’t hold weight since the premise assumed needed evil as a real and distinct epistemological ‘thing’. So MH shot it down quickly - which he could’ve spent more time elucidating in his open but I’m glad they at least did circle back and close the loop in the very end and even referenced some reading medieval material that apparently deals with it. Hopefully in a future debate there’s some Atheist representation w/ a more diverse academic background that includes Islamic philosophical works on these topics. As of now, it really seems that only the Muslim academics in these debates have extensive knowledge of both traditional Islamic material and our Western / German philosophical tradition.
@@hamizali7780 Most of the western academia are stuck in post enlightenment era when it comes to these topics.

Additionally there were several disturbances and the chair kept talking at length instead of timekeeping.

@@jodolski if you’re focusing on that rather than the content of what he said and the arguments he put across that the atheists didn’t even have a proper answer for, then you’re looking at this the wrong way and maybe not mature enough to see the bigger picture
@@specter1019 I’m not dismissing the merits of the Muslim arguments. They were solid. The atheists didn’t have a chance to respond. Debates like these don’t deserve to be confined to 2 hour sessions to be honest.

Why does all religion challenges Islam?
I don't see any hindu vs Buddhist, hindu vs singh,...
Hindu vs atheists... Because Islam is sensibly true...
Hinduism is bullshit they can't define what God is Christianity is irrational like concept of trinity and only Judaism and Islam left behind jews are in power economically but they do not usually debate on this topic only Islam left with true. Understanding of God and his book
True
Its the fastest growing religion more and more are drawn to it. Alhamdulillah
because hindu themselve dont belive their religion . there 10-15 types of hindus . and they worship anyone they find good or successful .
but all of them have one thing in common they hate muslim and do the opposite of muslim
You can view it as they want to continue following their desires and lack self accountability. They know if they accept Islam, the truth, then they have to let go of their desires, which a lot do not want to do.
This is not only exciting but it’s truly monumental. A first of its kind. Thank you MH and HT. Hopefully, there are many more debates like this from now on. Takbeer!!!

2. mark oppenheimer start to gives examples from the Quran about morality Which they don't know what they are talking about, they don't even study the Classic Arabic so they don't know classic Arabic. all of this things the mark has been mentioned or talk about from the Quran about morality those things has been dealt with so many time and answered, some claims he made are not from the Quran, some of them are just blunt lies that has been made up by islamophobs long long time ago. it just shows his (mark) lack of research about this topic before came into panel.
3. after that Muhammad Hijab got angry. he never should get angry or triggered by this people also I want to say to Mark that he never should talk about those things he doesn't know/researched completely or fully about those topic.
6. my discussion rating over all 7.5/10
the question remained unanswered

Respect to Hijab for not letting their attempts at silencing him stop him.
These athiests need to speak with their chest and argue the points, instead of crying about being scared and “uncomfortable” about Hijab’s tone of voice lol. They should expect different personalities and styles of debating.

Even the audience members were shaking their heads in disappointment at the behavior of the chair.😂
edit: I see in comments that enraged atheists are trying to sound funny by insulting the Muslims as the Muslims won the debate fair and square. Please refrain from your crybaby tactics as grown men with integrity do not display such foolish and weak behavior.
You mean the chair was hostile against the Muslims because they could not contain their anger and emotions.

The moderators were way too biased in this debate .. Props to Hamaz and Muhammad Hijab for not letting them push them around

The moderators were quite unfair but Muhammad hijab still came on top !!! Well done!!!!!
Have you said your shahada?
Even if your not practicing, you can still be Muslim
Take it one day at a time, each day you're a different muslim and judge what you do on that day and seek forgiveness for what has passed and yet to come. Allah is the most merciful.
Aslong as what the other comments have said. Take your Shahada. Now you don't have to be a "full time" Muslim. Just refrain from major sin and within time you would naturally adjust, Allah never said to go from 0 to 100, that's one reason he's the most Merciful. Now don't take it the wrong way, it dosent mean you can play the game
May God's mercy be upon you. Alhamdullillah

Bro Hijab I love the way you speak to the atheists. How can someone who denies the existence of a Creater ever be respected?
May Allah bless you for the izzah you and bro Hamza have demonstrated that Islam and the Muslims should have.
Should people respect a pedophile? A stone kisser? A rapist? A murderer? A satanic worshiper? 🤮
*What is meant by heaven and hell?*
Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
As a matter of fact, Paradise is not a word that refers only to trees, fruits, food, drink, hoor al-‘een, rivers and palaces.👉 *Most people are mistaken when they think that Paradise is limited to that, for Paradise is a name for the abode of perfect and absolute bliss, and one of the greatest joys of Paradise will be the pleasure of gazing upon the noble Countenance of Allah and hearing His words, and the delight of being close to Him and attaining His pleasure. There can be no comparison between the physical pleasures in Paradise - such as food, drink, clothing and images - and that pleasure.Attaining the least divine pleasure is greater than Paradise and all that it contains,* as Allah, may He be exalted, says 👉 (interpretation of the meaning): *“But the good pleasure of Allah is greater still” [at-Tawbah 9:72].* In other words, no matter the extent to which Allah is pleased with His slave, even if it is small, *it is still greater than Paradise.*
In the *saheeh hadith* about seeing Allah, it says: *“… and Allah will not give them anything that is dearer to them than gazing upon His Countenance.”* According to another hadith: “When He, may He be glorified, manifests Himself to them and they see His Countenance with their own eyes, *they will forget all the bliss that they had been enjoying,* and will become oblivious to that joy and will pay no attention to it.”
Undoubtedly, this is how it is, And the matter is much greater than one could think or imagine, especially when the lovers there find themselves with the one whom they love, for a person will be with the one whom he loves. What bliss, delight, joy or triumph could come close to the joy, pleasure and tranquillity of being with Allah? Is there anything superior to the pleasure and joy of being close to the Beloved, for there is nothing greater than Him, or more perfect, or more beautiful, and nothing could give greater comfort and happiness?
This - by Allah - is the type of knowledge that the lovers are striving hard to attain, and is the banner around which all those who have knowledge of Allah rally. It is the most important thing in Paradise, through which Paradise becomes a place of joy, and the life of Paradise is based on that.
So how can it be said that one should not worship Allah for the sake of attaining Paradise or for fear of Hell?
👉 *Similarly, Hell* - may Allah protect us from it - is a place where its dwellers will suffer a great deal when they are partitioned away from Allah and suffer disgrace, divine wrath and anger, and being far away from Him. That will be worse than the flames of fire in their bodies and souls. In fact, the flames of this fire in their hearts is what led to the flames burning their bodies, for those flames spread everywhere in their bodies from their hearts.
The aspiration of the Prophets and Messengers, the siddeeqs (the strong and true in faith), the martyrs and the righteous is Paradise, and what they seek to flee from is Hell.
And Allah is the source of strength, and in Him we put our trust. There is no power and no strength except with Allah; Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.

Wise and learned person
The panelists wanted more attention.
Honestly. IMO this could have been so much better
True
although i technically agree that the moderator is within his rights to allow time extension for the panelists to discuss among themselves even into time allocated for public Q&A, in spirit i think it is still more wise and gentlemanly for them to respect the time, because the public doesn't have as much luxury to pose their own questions to the panelists due to logistical limitations - this might be the only opportunity for them to do so, whereas the panelists are more likely able to continue their high level discussions among themselves during their own private free time after the session.

Not really, it was supposed to be a discussion not a slanging match.. It was like speakers corner style of debating. This is meant as a constructive criticism, so that we learn and rectify, but if we keep saying "well done" "well done" for something that was not well done then we are causing our brothers to be 'lead down the garden path'.
@@abunusaybah1058 I think both MH and HT handled themselves well giving the situation. Maybe you're conflating confidence and passion with "slanging match".
Good point, thanks for identifying that.
Fantastic comment
They are pretty contradictory of their own agenda
One could argue that insemination would ensure the continuation of the human species. In other words: The progress of our time, our technological development has made it possible for us to abstain from procreation through coition.
Great catch

O believers! Whoever among you abandons their faith, Allah will replace them with others who love Him and are loved by Him. And Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.

I was kind of confused, maybe because the vocabulary used was so vast. But I suppose both sides did well.
@@hamizali7780
Most of the western academia are stuck in post enlightenment era when it comes to these topics. They simply shoot down the ontological argument and present the problem of evil and Voila, I have defeated all religions!
They literally believe we Muslims especially only have Moral theory and argument to prove Allah! Bro this the least important argument used by Muslim Theologians such as Ghazali, Razi, Ibn Sina etc.
The whole moral argument is simply unnecessary and emotional and only comes forth from people from Christian backgrounds….
Give me a definition of Evil first then we can discuss. You will eventually prove that evil = harm which is sometimes necessary and beneficial for oneself or others which means zilch.
@@eggstravagent3801the atheist to the right brought up some amazing arguments that muslims have already clarified but are unknown to most people. I dont blame him for bringing up those topics, it s really well thought of him and quite honest and only someone who studied theological islam can know that stuff. He gave MH and HT a good opportunity to exhibit the key foundations of islamic intelligence. You can only show how great islam is by the greatness of the enemies.
