- In this video we'll dive deeper into a lore topic we’ve already discussed.
We covered the sylvari as a whole but didn’t mention the the oldest and most respected among them. The Firstborn. As the oldest and most experienced of sylvari the rest of the race looks up to them, they are very prominent characters in the story. But the games seems to speed past the back story of some of these characters... and that where I come in with this video!
There is lots of lore that can easily be overlooked in Guild Wars 2, if you don't pay attention to it you may miss it. But who has the time to watch a super long lore video when you can get all the important bits you need to know in a fast straight to the point video. Guaranteed to cover the relevant information in 2 minutes!

Sylvari(Salad) the best race!
I love how calmly you tell a story, it is so engaging that mispronouncing a name goes unnoticed.
It was a bit of a challenge to figure out the right pronunciation for these names. Especially when the character pronounces it differently than the real traditional way
I seem to be the only one that couldn't give a damn if people mispronounce names not normal in their culture.

im hopping the other 2 firstborn gonna drop on some of these to come new "expansions" while talking about the others silvarys that might have bloom from others "pale trees" and serve as introduction to that story.

Since they are expanding Tyria with smaller expansions, there is still room to eventually learn about the other two firstborn sylvari!!! I hope we get a Malyck storyline with another pale tree
I enjoyed this video and it seemed the perfect length for the subject matter. My only suggestion is at the end when you reveal that the last 2 First Born are not named, maybe say where the idea that there were 12 First Born came from. I was curious how we know there are 12 yet we don't know the names of 2.

Interesting thing to note, Niamh is actually pronouced NEEV. Irish names are sometimes like this. Like Siobhan is pronounced SHEH-VAHN.
However, I don't blame you for mispronouncing it, as the voice actors in the game that address Niamh also mispronounced it as NI-UHM.
Anyways, lol. This was a cool video. I love the Sylvari and they have such a cool history, even if there isn't much of it as they're a newer race. Does it explain anywhere HOW/WHY they were "born?"

I think it is good practice to introduce more to a story than what is planned for then and there, referring to the 2 unknown firstborns.
This leaves possibilities for future stories to be connected to the world through previously stated knowledge, helping the new stories feel genuine and not just added for the sake of it.
Also, mysteries are really compelling for many, leaving open endings creates a feeling of grandness and possibilities for players, as well as potential content for creators. (As mysteries makes for popular content). Example: "The mystery of the 2 uknown sylvari firstborns, who were they? will they appear in the future, where could they be now, and what might a-net do with them in the future".
I like your content. It reminds me of Souls game lore content of VaatiVidya. I also have short attention span so your video length is just the right one for me. I tend to doze off if anything is longer than 13mins. Keep it up!

i love the video and the info is good, but man dude I'm all here for spoilers and interesting details. this is a lore video, new players arent exactly coming to these types of videos for information about the game.
