- After an epic trip in Bremer Bay, we ran into a couple of characters at the boat ramp, who wanted to check out our haul. One of the fellas was an ex cray fishermen in Denmark and wanted to swap a heap of his cray marks for our fishing spots in Bremer Bay.
We ummed and ahhed, as we had just found some once in a lifetime spots and had no idea if this bloke would have any good spots or not. However we rolled the dice and came out with a decent result!
@thequarterlifecrisis4003 and myself had never fished Denmark so it excited us for a new adventure. 5 hours in the car and couple of big days with unreal weather we caught all the different species we wanted to tick off the list!

Should have let the old boy take the whole frames, dhu frame with the wings in the bin is abit cringe. Anyhoo I know when you have so many fillets to process it's easy to not bother with the rest. At least $1600 worth of fillets, hopefully you vacuum sealed them when you got back to Perth?
Yes mate, I agree, it took us the whole morning to fillet and clean the boat, etc and we were in a rush. If we had the time we would have kept all the wings for sure, they are my favourite bit!

@@unprofessionaltravellers well funny you say that we’ve been getting lots of good dhus of pb mate always calls the big one Sambos 😂 my brother good with the nanny’s too he hooks one leaves it down for the second gets the second waits for the third flicks the first 2 off to bring up 1. And they the only fish with soft lips you can loose a few on the surface they’ll shut the whole school down. As funny as it may sound if you get stuck into the nanny’s and goes of the bite you’ve or someone lost a few coming up. Keep up the good work champs

@@unprofessionaltravellers I’m in Albany but get most the big dhus from where you launched to Walpole we got a spot just of peaceful bay tinny area heading straight to our shelf spot. Found it by using a stupid good sounder prob spot the size of a good shed. Last 3 trips got 10 dhus. 2 800, 2 pigeon pair 870 and one at 940. Good little dhu hole only a matter of time I get a meter there. And good pinkys like the one you get
