Honestly though, you probably don’t even need to have an income and just be self sufficient. Have your own well water, your own underground sewer, plant your own food, have solar panels for power

He had to drive the short distance to get a burger because you put highway segments on the roundabout, and those have no sidewalks. A simple pedestrian path drawn around the outside of the roundabout on each side would allow him to walk anywhere in the city.

Imagine being the sole resident of your own city, without needing to worry about any cars or anything but yourself, yet you still have to abide to “no walking on highways.” Imagine if in apocalypse movies, the protagonists have to find and fuel an abandoned car because they were stuck inside a circular motorway…
The population was two in 2004 with Rudy and Elsie Eiler. But then Rudy passed away, making the population one. Dang, that is sad.

Here's an idea if you haven't already done it. A city shaped like a pie. Each pie piece being a type of zoning like commercial, residential, etc. As you expand the city, it just increases in diameter, maybe with breaks every so often for services like police, fire, etc.

Here was a back up on the sewer because you mixed the water and drainage, you can see what I mean at 16:41 in the video. The area where you needed to add the highway for the noise barriers.
Good thing the resident doesn't need to sleep and doesn't complain about noise

The music should have cut out when you said does anyone hear that? Then the music comes back until you mention the sound again then the music cuts out again. Both music cuts would have the sound that you were hearing from the power plant be the only sound heard. I know y'all are busy, I was just trying to help, please don't take any of this as destructive criticism or anything like that. I just want to help.

Seems like the issues you were having stem from not having enough employees for the buildings rather than not having enough of them.

Your videos have given me much insight in how to make CS2 more enjoyable. TY. I do however would like some of your input. I have an asset Large Apartment Complex. I can select it, but once I try and place it by a road, it will not let me put it where I want, it says distance too short. I am thinking about making a city of apartment complexes, but cant until I can place where I want one to be placed. Any thoughts about why I can not place the apartment complex anywhere there is a street or road?
Crazy how this video showcases so many issues with the economy.
-The ONLY citizen who CHOOSES to move into the house can't afford it, yet still chose to move in
-The services are staffed despite no population
-The garbage pickup is free from other cities and you can't turn that off and don't need your own until you have like 100k people
-You can blindly export power and get paid for it with no actual requirements whatsoever, just "do it" and you're good
The next patch is supposed to be an "economy overhaul". What are they odds they don't fix the tax bug that has been around since DECEMBER and makes the game unplayable because you're handed free millions for nothing?
Those are not issues, its just that the game is based on Socialism, it is working as intended.
