I think that’s why Deftones have always resonated with me differently than the rest. In 95 I was 10 listening to 2pac, Bone thugs, NWA, getting into Metallica, Korn, Nirvana. Deftones were the perfect balance of what I was looking for musically. And while my taste in music changed and eventually I got into heavier bands I always came back to see what the new Deftones albums sounded like because they were the only ones that grew with me. They’re the only band I’ve listened to every single album front to back and not been disappointed

Love both Stef and Chino to death but I'm with Stef here. Chaosphere is solid gold, love when Stef complements Chino's highs with that brutality.
