Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts about AI in the voiceover industry. I appreciate the immense thought you’ve put into this - good grounds covered! It’s very helpful, thank you!
Thank you for your comment Zoey much appreciated
Amazing advice as always, an eye-opener Peter. Kudos
Thank you Anibal

AI is definitely here to stay and can provide amazing results if you know how to use it properly!
One big advantage we have over AI is... RI Real Intelligence, which is by far the best for VO.
Exactly! ;)
it is really dangerous and scary for VO especially the beginners to find new apps and software in the room generating VO , in the sometimes , many client dont accept VO changed using apps like the mentioned one , it is very confusing dilemma also a bit scary
I truly don't know the answer to this question: aren't the boring jobs the "bread and butter" for paying jobs? There are more of those than exciting jobs. Also a starting place for gaining job experience to practice in the real worlds and learn what clients want?
You’re right but I think it also opens things up to even more possibilities we otherwise wouldn’t have, AI is also something that can be extremely useful in regard to marketing (something else we’re currently working on right now)
Quite agree, the first thought that came to mind was this - the barrier to entry for voiceovers is now even higher than before! Newbies must be of very high quality to kickstart their careers. They need to be better than AI, cheaper than AI or perhaps competitive enough. Could be good news for professional voiceovers but not so great for amateurs and beginners. I personally enjoy “boring” voiceover jobs because it’s easy work. Now I’ve got to up my game!
so do you think your fiverr course is no longer valid, considering that most of fiverr clients will eventually move to AI?
I think it’s still valid for the reasons I mention in the video, some Fiverr sellers will try and resort to A.I. voiceovers for everything but they won’t get many jobs that way especially the really decent ones
I interpreted this question as asking if those low budget clients will just use AI on their own. Your answer made me think that if I was a VO actor on Fiverr I woukd start providing VO services using an AI to provide the voice recording instead of my own. Can you clarify?
@@WendyHughesJelenGRNLVNG that is exactly what i meant, and i think you interpreted the answer correctly as well lol
not sure how i feel about selling AI generated VO. even with the whole artistic integrity aside, it's just that at that point, we'd basically just be selling our inflection? i'm pretty sure that the buyer could record it him/herself on the phone and use the same "AI voice converter" we'd be using. it's not like they need a good mic or studio for this, considering the newly available AI restoration tools
@@WendyHughesJelenGRNLVNG Firstly sites like Fiver only ever provide around 15-20% of voiceover jobs for professional voiceovers, most jobs are gained through marketing to direct clients which lead to much higher paid jobs. Fiver is a great place for beginners to start getting jobs but like with most gigs on Fiverr, you will have a lot of sellers providing low quality work whether is writing, graphic design, voiceovers and more... The point I'm trying to make with this video is that voiceover artists shouldn't panic about AI. It will replace some jobs but the decent jobs will still require real people doing voice overs, hope this helps to clarify this?
Let's be real here: AI will almost completely take over many industries. At this point, you would be wise to use them as tools to get more out of your skillset. But all the stuff that Peter is saying that we can't currently do with AI, like those subtle and minute tweaks, we will eventually be able to do that, but that's a bit more far off into the future, like 10-15 years off? At that point, I dunno what we'll be doing, but I know that many, many, much larger industries like the legal and financial industries will be heavily impacted by AI, maybe even revolutionized. Don't be a stubborn luddite.
This almost sounds like you were paid to promote AI
I'm not promoting AI I'm just trying to explain how voice overs can use it instead of being afraid of losing work as a voiceover
Since you are choosing to support the unethical usage of imitative algorithms, i cannot in good faith stay subscribed to your channel.
If you listen to what I’m saying I’m not supporting it and telling people to create voiceovers using it INSTEAD of creating voiceovers themselves. I’m reassuring voiceovers that AI won’t replace them and how they can use AI to help them. The fact is AI is here and more and more businesses are using it to increase productivity and much more.
@@VoiceovermasterclassAI is here to stay even if we like it or not. So might as well use them to tweak our og voiceovers.
