They were Belgian & Dutch. The Eurodance craze started in 89 with Technotronic and peaked in 95 with Real McCoy but then Trance started to take over and the scene pretty much died off. This was 93ish from memory. It was their 2nd big hit after 'Get Ready For This'.
Released in 1993, “No Limit” topped the charts in 13 countries, including the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands. It was one of the best-selling singles in Europe that year.
daaamn.. hit straight to childhood and our schooltrip for a week outside of the school.. we had disco like every night there and that song.. daaaamn that song banged soooo many times in night :D
Repeat after me same "no" more and more No word is too simple, no word is too small Steal beat from oldschool EBM, it is fine No, no, no, no lyrics and I'm out of rhymes
If you’ve even been to a roller rink or seen/heard a hockey game in the last 30 years, then you’ve heard at least part of this song. I still have the cassette somewhere
"The Twilight Zone" song from them is my favorite. I also liked a techno band called "The Movement" who combined techno, rap, and reggae in the era where a bunch of bands made songs about Jumping 😅
That was the 90's euro dance era perhaps many of them didn't reach the top of the charts in America at that time but they were very known in the club's dancefloor and I ain't even know how to dance but I guess is one of my guilty pleasures just listen to 😂 btw get ready for this by 2 unlimited is more popular because it was overplayed over and over in almost every sports event during the 90's.
Ab-fab, just ab-fab. The music i grew up with. This music always puts me in a good mood. They have many uplifting songs, great reaction, thank you. I say we need more uplifting and fun stuffs. As always, much love&respect❤
Oh boy, the cheesy 90's Eurodance craze! This sh*t was all over the radio stations, there was almost no escaping it. It was so bad that we in the band I was playing in at the time decided to make a Metal version of this song, with parts from their other songs and different lyrics, just for fun. 😄 I think that mixing guitars with this type of rhythm (yes, we kept the Eurodance beat) was what got me into Industrial Metal a few years later. I'm thorn, I don't know if I should give a thumbs up to this reaction or not. On one hand, I appreciate you guys for "enduring" this but on the other it brings back some "bad" memories. 😄
I remember this being played at Dallas Mavericks games back in the day. I'm pretty sure they still play it occasionally. "Let Me Hear Ya Say Yea!!" lol
As a South Eastern European myself, i can tell with a distinct voice that this was "THE" staple music in Europe in the 90s, it was called Eurodance. In the very begining of the 90s, this was all the rage in Europe, and it was definitely difficult to get hold of some band records here in Eastern Europe. But i remember vividly how i watched these music videos at a friend's place on MTV back in the day.
I would highly recommend that you take a look at the music video, "Nephew feat. Johnson - Statusopdaterer At Jeg Statusopdaterer". And "Djämes Braun - Fugle (Official Music Video)" You can skip the monolog and go to 0.40 if you like. These are really some great music videos
No no no no. No no no no. No no no no. No no there's no lyrics. The single version I recall didn't have the raps in. Still love it though! They had several hits in the UK in a similar vein.
@mattf9406 Seemingly not in the UK. If you check out on UA-cam Top of the Pops from 1993 where they performed it there is no rap. Maybe the label didn't think we understand rap in the UK!
@@DavidAston-bn9bz im in the UK and i can assure you its always been there. Maybe the rap was missing from TOTP for other reasons (time issue to broadcast or something)

Ah, yes. Techno/Eurodance back in the day. What memories.
Twilight zone and Get ready for this is a MUST!!!!!

🇳🇱 They are from the Netherlands: Ray Slijngaard and Anita Dot.
Get ready for this is 👌🏼
That was so back in the days for me. I had their cassette with this song. 80s - 90s was a fun time for Eurodance. Great reaction as always.
daaamn.. hit straight to childhood and our schooltrip for a week outside of the school.. we had disco like every night there and that song.. daaaamn that song banged soooo many times in night :D
And just like that we’ve all got an ear worm
This was pretty much the soundtrack of my youth in the 90’s.
"No no,no no no no, there's no lyrics" 😂
The spitting image remix
Repeat after me same "no" more and more
No word is too simple, no word is too small
Steal beat from oldschool EBM, it is fine
No, no, no, no lyrics and I'm out of rhymes
"Techno, techno, techno, techno!"

My childhood, omg😮

This sounds vaguely familiar. I probably heard it at the roller rink back in the early 90s. I will admit i was tapping my foot to this.
you are about 30 years behind us guys lol
Every time I hear this I think of Jim from Vicar of Dibley.

Replace Europe with the place you were living in.
This was mediocre commercial music that couldn't compare to the stuff that was played at raves.
I liked this track at the age of 10. It was 1994😂

Eurodance always had a rapper in it .
I didn’t remember the name but I remember the song from my youth
This sort of light rave music was massive in the UK and Europe I think America to straight laced! 😊😊😊
They're from Netherlands. 90s eurodance.

Okay, who sent them this?
You really had to be European and a teenager at that time.
Jock Jams!!!!
Yes! “Get Ready For This” was on Jock Jams. I guarantee they have heard it since it is played at sporting events to this day.
Tune!!
It’s a bop😊

No no no no. No no no no. No no no no. No no there's no lyrics. The single version I recall didn't have the raps in. Still love it though! They had several hits in the UK in a similar vein.
What? Its always had the rap in, right from its release and in every version.
